耶和華膏古列、執其右手、服列國於其前、去諸王之腰束、啟其邑門、俾不復閉、

耶和華告受膏古列曰、我左右爾、使列國賓服、使諸王荏弱、大啟邑門、不能閉拒。

受膏王古列、為我耶和華所立、我扶其右手、使列國降服其前、使諸王柔弱無力、使諸邑門啟於其前、不得閉之、我對之如是曰、

“ This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“ Cyrus is my anointed king. I take hold of his right hand. I give him the power to bring nations under his control. I help him strip kings of their power to go to war against him. I break city gates open so he can go through them. I say to him,

Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed:

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear. Their fortress gates will be opened, never to shut again.

The LORD says this to Cyrus, his anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him and disarm kings, to open doors before him, and even city gates will not be shut:

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to undo the weapons belt on the waist of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“ Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:

Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

This is what the LORD says to his chosen one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I hold in order to subdue nations before him, and disarm kings, to open doors before him, so gates remain unclosed:

Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

我是獨一無二的耶和華，除我以外再沒有上帝。雖然你不認識我，但我還是賜你力量。

波斯王塞魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗祂藉耶利米所說的話，就感動波斯王塞魯士，使他下詔通告全國：

河閘大開，王宮坍塌。

我已向我揀選的士兵發出命令，我已號召我的勇士去傾倒我的烈怒，他們因我的勝利而歡喜。

耶和華說：「敵人要攻擊巴比倫的居民及其首領和謀士；

「我使一人從北方興起，他來了，他在東方求告我的名。他必把掌權者像灰泥一樣踏在腳下，像窯匠踩泥一樣踐踏。

祂使權貴倍受羞辱，祂除掉強者的權勢。

現在，我要把你們的國家交給我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，連田野的走獸也要歸他管轄。

耶和華吩咐他說：「你原路返回，前往大馬士革附近的曠野，到了之後要膏立哈薛做亞蘭王。

第二隻獸像熊，用兩隻後腿站立，牙齒間叼著三根肋骨，有聲音對牠說，『起來，多吞吃肉吧！』

「誰使一人從東方興起？誰憑公義把他召到跟前？誰把列國交給他，使他征服列國的君王，用刀將他們化為塵土，用弓將他們淪為風吹的碎稭？

因為有一個來自北方的國家要攻擊它，使它荒涼、人畜絕跡。』」

我舉目觀看，見一隻長著長角的公綿羊站在河邊，其中一角比另一角長，較長的角是後長出來的。

烏法珥新——指你的國要分裂，歸給瑪代人和波斯人。」於是，伯沙撒下令給但以理穿上紫袍，戴上金項鏈，又宣告他在國中位居第三。當夜，迦勒底王伯沙撒被殺。

臉色驟變，驚恐萬分，兩腿發軟，雙膝顫抖。

「人子啊，我打斷了埃及王法老的臂膀，沒有人替他敷藥包紮，以致他無力拿刀。主耶和華說，『我要與埃及王法老為敵，我要把他那強壯的臂膀和曾經受傷的臂膀一起打斷，使刀從他手中掉落。我要把埃及人驅散到列國，分散到列邦。我要使巴比倫王的臂膀強壯有力，把我的刀交在他手中。我要打斷法老的臂膀，使法老在他面前像受了致命傷的人一樣呻吟。
