我所遣之僕、有言耶路撒冷、必有居人、猶大眾邑、必有建造、荒蕪之區、必復其初、我必使應其言。

我驗我僕之言、成我使者之謀、命耶路撒冷復有居民、命猶大諸邑重為建築、使其瓦礫瓦礫或作荒蕪之處、復舊如初、

who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills the predictions of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem,‘ It shall be inhabited,’ of the towns of Judah,‘ They shall be rebuilt,’ and of their ruins,‘ I will restore them,’

I make the words of my servants the prophets come true. I carry out what my messengers say will happen.“ I say about Jerusalem,‘ My people will live there again.’ I say about the towns of Judah,‘ They will be rebuilt.’ I say about their broken- down buildings,‘ I will make them like new again.’

外邦人必重建你的城牆，他們的君王都必事奉你。我曾經在震怒中擊打了你，而如今我在恩典中憐憫了你。

然而我吩咐我僕人眾先知的話語和律例，不都追上了你們的祖先嗎？於是他們回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華照著我們的道路和行為決意怎樣對待我們，他就怎樣對待了我們。』」

並且我們有先知更確切的話語。你們如果留心這些話語，把它當做照耀在暗處的燈，一直到天光破曉、晨星在你們心中升起，你們就做得很好了。你們首先要知道這一點：經上的一切預言都不是出於人自己的解釋；因為預言從來不是藉著人的意思傳來的，而是人受聖靈的感動說出從神而來的話。

看哪！先前所預言的事已經應驗了，現在我要宣告新的事，在它們還沒有發生之前，我就要告知你們。」

「你這經受困苦、屢遭風暴、不得安慰的城啊！看哪！我必把你的石頭安置在金屬銻上，以藍寶石奠定你的根基，又以紅寶石造你的城垛，以紅玉造你的城門，以珍貴的石頭造你所有的界牆。

我確實地告訴你們：即使天和地都消逝了，律法的一點一畫也絕不會消逝，直到一切都成就。

因此你當知道，你要明白：從發出命令恢復、重建耶路撒冷，直到受膏之君的時候，有七個『七』和六十二個『七』；那時耶路撒冷連同她的廣場和溝渠都必被恢復、重建，但那將是一個困苦的時期。

耶和華建造耶路撒冷，聚集被驅散的以色列人。

因為你要左右擴展，你的後裔必占有列國為繼業，又在荒涼的城邑居住。

對他說：「你跑去告訴那少年人說：『耶路撒冷必像無城牆的村鎮那樣住人，因為其中的人和牲畜眾多。

他們必重建古時的廢墟之處，復興先前的荒涼之地，重修荒廢的城市，就是歷代荒涼之地。

耶穌對他們說：「這就是我還與你們在一起的時候，對你們說過的話：摩西的律法、先知書和詩篇上所記的有關我的一切事，都必須應驗。」

到那日，我必使猶大的族長們像木柴中的火盆，又像禾捆中燃燒的火把；他們將向左向右吞噬四圍所有的民族，但耶路撒冷的居民仍在耶路撒冷自己的地方居住。

你必起來憐憫錫安，因為這是恩待她的時候，又因為所定的時期已經來到。是的，你的僕人們喜悅錫安的石頭，愛慕她的塵土。那時列國將敬畏耶和華的名，地上所有的君王將敬畏你的榮耀；因為耶和華建造錫安，在自己的榮耀裡顯現。

事實上，大衛指著他說：『我常常看見主在我面前；因他在我的右邊，我就不至於搖動。為此我內心歡喜，口舌快樂，並且我的肉身也要安居在盼望中。因為你不會把我的靈魂撇棄在陰間，也不會讓你的聖者經歷腐朽。你讓我明白了生命之道，使我在你面前充滿喜樂。』

不過這整個事的發生，是為要應驗先知書的那些經文。」這時候，所有的門徒都離開他，逃跑了。

從你而出的人中，必有人重建古時的廢墟之處；你必重立世世代代的根基；你必被稱為『破口的修補者』、『住人街道的修復者』。

從迦巴直到耶路撒冷南方臨門的全地都將變為荒原，但耶路撒冷必聳立、存留在原處——從便雅憫門到第一門之處，又到角門，再從哈楠業樓到王的榨酒池那裡。城中必有人居住，不再有命定的滅絕，耶路撒冷的居民必安然居住。
