I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”

Leave Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with a shout of joy, proclaim this, let it go out to the end of the earth; announce,“ The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob!”

This is the Lord’s declaration.“ Return, you faithless children”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ for I am your master, and I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithful love; according to Your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion.

Turn Your face away from my sins and blot out all my guilt.

Israel, return to Yahweh your God, for you have stumbled in your sin.Take words of repentance with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him:“ Forgive all our sin and accept what is good, so that we may repay You with praise from our lips.Assyria will not save us, we will not ride on horses, and we will no longer proclaim,‘ Our gods!’ to the work of our hands. For the fatherless receives compassion in You.”I will heal their apostasy; I will freely love them, for My anger will have turned from him.

instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age,while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

But what God predicted through the mouth of all the prophets— that His Messiah would suffer— He has fulfilled in this way.Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from the fathers, not with perishable things like silver or gold,but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

Do not cover their guilt or let their sin be erased from Your sight, because they have provoked the builders.

We have sinned and rebelled; You have not forgiven.You have covered Yourself in anger and pursued us; You have killed without compassion.You have covered Yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can pass through.

the oath that He swore to our father Abraham. He has given us the privilege,since we have been rescued from our enemies’ clutches, to serve Him without fear

And the redeemed of the Lord will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.

I will purify them from all the wrongs they have committed against Me, and I will forgive all the wrongs they have committed against Me, rebelling against Me.

He saturates clouds with moisture; He scatters His lightning through them.

Let his ancestors’ guilt be remembered before the Lord, and do not let his mother’s sin be blotted out.

“ The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression.” This is the Lord’s declaration.“ As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord:“ My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, from now on and forever,” says the Lord.

Zion will be redeemed by justice, her repentant ones by righteousness.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him to marry another, can he ever return to her? Wouldn’t such a land become totally defiled? But you! You have played the prostitute with many partners— can you return to Me? This is the Lord’s declaration.

“ Come, let us discuss this,” says the Lord.“ Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will be like wool.

But You, Lord, know all their deadly plots against me. Do not wipe out their guilt; do not blot out their sin before You. Let them be forced to stumble before You; deal with them in the time of Your anger.
