他們不知道，也不思想；因為耶和華閉住他們的眼，不能看見，塞住他們的心，不能明白。

这样的人不明白，也不领悟，因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼使他们不能看见，蒙蔽他们的心使他们不能明悟。

這樣的人不明白，也不領悟，因為耶和華蒙蔽他們的眼使他們不能看見，蒙蔽他們的心使他們不能明悟。

維彼不知不思、其目障翳不見、其心蒙蔽不明、

維彼不識不知、其目若塗以泥、其心不明、

惟彼不知不悟、目塗不見、心蔽不明、

They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.

People like that don’t even know what they are doing. Their eyes are shut so that they can’t see the truth. Their minds are closed so that they can’t understand it.

They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see. Their minds are shut, and they cannot think.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for he has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.

They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see, and their hearts so that they cannot comprehend.

They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, And their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see;[ and] their hearts, that they cannot understand.

They do not comprehend or understand, for their eyes are blind and cannot see; their minds do not discern.

They don’t know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can’t see; and their hearts, that they can’t understand.

他說：「你去告訴這百姓說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得。要使這百姓心蒙脂油，耳朵發沉，眼睛昏迷；恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，便得醫治。」

如果我們的福音蒙蔽，就是蒙蔽在滅亡的人身上。此等不信之人被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，不叫基督榮耀福音的光照着他們。基督本是神的像。

他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：主叫他們瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。

愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

我便任憑他們心裏剛硬，隨自己的計謀而行。

你們互相受榮耀，卻不求從獨一之神來的榮耀，怎能信我呢？

你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識神。因為，耶和華賜人智慧；知識和聰明都由他口而出。他給正直人存留真智慧，給行為純正的人作盾牌，為要保守公平人的路，護庇虔敬人的道。你也必明白仁義、公平、正直、一切的善道。

這不法的人來，是照撒但的運動，行各樣的異能、神蹟，和一切虛假的奇事，並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣出於不義的詭詐；因他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。故此，神就給他們一個生發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，使一切不信真理、倒喜愛不義的人都被定罪。

在他們身上，正應了以賽亞的預言，說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得；因為這百姓油蒙了心，耳朵發沉，眼睛閉着，恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。

你們為甚麼不明白我的話呢？無非是因你們不能聽我的道。

因為，他們雖然知道神，卻不當作神榮耀他，也不感謝他。他們的思念變為虛妄，無知的心就昏暗了。自稱為聰明，反成了愚拙，將不能朽壞之神的榮耀變為偶像，彷彿必朽壞的人和飛禽、走獸、昆蟲的樣式。

因為耶和華將沉睡的靈澆灌你們，封閉你們的眼，蒙蓋你們的頭。你們的眼就是先知；你們的頭就是先見。

如經上所記：神給他們昏迷的心，眼睛不能看見，耳朵不能聽見，直到今日。大衛也說：願他們的筵席變為網羅，變為機檻，變為絆腳石，作他們的報應。願他們的眼睛昏矇，不得看見；願你時常彎下他們的腰。

必有許多人使自己清淨潔白，且被熬煉；但惡人仍必行惡，一切惡人都不明白，惟獨智慧人能明白。

牛認識主人，驢認識主人的槽，以色列卻不認識；我的民卻不留意。

壞人不明白公義；惟有尋求耶和華的，無不明白。

他們既然故意不認識神，神就任憑他們存邪僻的心，行那些不合理的事；

他以灰為食，心中昏迷，使他偏邪，他不能自救，也不能說：「我右手中豈不是有虛謊嗎？」

他在從前的世代，任憑萬國各行其道；

你們從列國逃脫的人，要一同聚集前來。那些擡着雕刻木偶、禱告不能救人之神的，毫無知識。

畜類人不曉得；愚頑人也不明白。

毒蛇的種類！你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裏所充滿的，口裏就說出來。

製造雕刻偶像的盡都虛空；他們所喜悅的都無益處；他們的見證無所看見，無所知曉，他們便覺羞愧。

他們盡都是畜類，是愚昧的。偶像的訓誨算甚麼呢？偶像不過是木頭。

他們將神像擡起，扛在肩上，安置在定處，它就站立，不離本位；人呼求它，它不能答應，也不能救人脫離患難。你們當想念這事，自己作大丈夫。悖逆的人哪，要心裏思想。

各人都成了畜類，毫無知識；各銀匠都因他雕刻的偶像羞愧。他所鑄的偶像本是虛假的，其中並無氣息，

他們滿眼是淫色，止不住犯罪，引誘那心不堅固的人，心中習慣了貪婪，正是被咒詛的種類。

誰是智慧人？可以明白這些事；誰是通達人？可以知道這一切。因為，耶和華的道是正直的；義人必在其中行走，罪人卻在其上跌倒。

這些狗貪食，不知飽足。這些牧人不能明白－各人偏行己路，各從各方求自己的利益。
