And the residue thereof he maketh a god,[ even] his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth[ it], and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou[ art] my god.

尚有餘木、用之造神、以為雕像、俯伏拜之、禱曰、爾其救予、蓋爾為我神也、

更有餘木、以製偶像、以像上帝、俯伏而拜、禱曰、誠我上帝、爾其救予、

所餘即作神像偶像、俯伏其前叩拜、禱之曰、求爾救我、因爾即我神、

From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says,“ Save me! You are my god!”

Then he takes what’s left and makes his god: a carved idol! He falls down in front of it, worshiping and praying to it.“ Rescue me!” he says.“ You are my god!”

He makes a god or his idol with the rest of it. He bows down to it and worships; he prays to it,“ Save me, for you are my god.”

Yet the rest of it he makes into a god, his carved image. He bows down before it and worships; he also prays to it and says,“ Save me, for you are my god.”

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel:[ and] the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed[ it], and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But[ there was] no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.

Where[ are] the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where[ are] the gods of Sepharvaim? and have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?Who[ are they] among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast[ him] into the den of lions.[ Now] the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
