爾其與我辯論、追溯厥初、以明己之善焉。

瀕海之民、宜緘口、遠方之人、當補力、俱集我所、與我辯論。

越在疇昔、我立斯民、未來之事、我皆預言、莫不徵應、孰能與我比儗哉、如有其人、使試言未來事、以為徵據。爾毋畏葸、在昔我有預言、已告乎爾、爾可為證。我乃全能上帝、外此我弗知之矣。作偶像者、悉為虛妄、其所慕者無益、彼明知其不見不聞、當生愧怍。

全能之上帝耶和華、普告天下、自日出之鄉、窮日入之處、

越在疇昔、事未至、我先言之、俾爾知悉、恐爾以為所鑄之偶像作此。爾始耳聞、今能目睹、何不以此明示於眾、今而後未來之事、素稱秘奧、爾所未知者、我以之啟迪爾、

以利亞至民前曰、爾曹執持兩端、躊躇未決、將伊於何底乎。如以耶和華為上帝、則從耶和華、如以巴力為上帝、則從巴力。斯民無言以對。以利亞告民曰、耶和華之先知、惟我一人、為巴力之先知者四百五十人、當以二犢予我儕、彼取一而剖之、置之於柴、惟不縱火、我亦取一、置之於柴、亦不縱火。爾曹籲爾之上帝、我則籲耶和華、孰能降火、以應所祈、則以之為上帝。民曰、所言甚善。

異邦之人、無不和會、其至甚速、耶和華之武士、亦必涖臨、

天下億兆、貧富尊卑、宜聽我言兮、

如事耶和華爾視為不善、今日簡所欲事者、或爾祖在大河東所事之上帝、或爾居斯土亞摩哩人之上帝、惟我與全家必事耶和華。民對曰、我斷不可違耶和華、事他上帝、蓋我上帝耶和華、導我祖與我出埃及、脫於賤役、行諸異跡、俾我目擊、祐我於所行之途、拯我於所過之國。耶和華驅斯民於我前、亦驅斯土之亞摩哩人、故必事我上帝耶和華。約書亞曰、爾不能事耶和華者、以耶和華乃聖、斷不容以他上帝匹之、故不赦爾罪愆。如爾違耶和華、事他上帝、則祐爾之後、必反害爾、至於滅亡。民對曰、我必事耶和華。約書亞曰、爾簡耶和華而事之、爾自為證曰、我願自證。曰汝中所有他人之上帝、今當去之、誠心相從以色列族上帝耶和華。民謂約書亞曰、我欲奉事我上帝耶和華而遵其命。

當獻祭之時、先知以利亞前、曰、耶和華歟、亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列之上帝、今日使民咸知、爾在以色列族中為上帝、亦知我屬爾僕、凡有所為、悉遵爾命。耶和華尚其聽我哉、使斯民皆知、爾乃耶和華上帝、使其心翻然以改。耶和華遂降火、燬其燔祭、以及其柴、其石、其土、溝中之水亦涸。民眾見此、則俯伏曰、耶和華誠上帝矣、耶和華誠上帝矣。

選民和會、群聽斯言、異邦之人、孰能預言未來事、惟我耶和華、寵愛古列俾成我志、降災於巴比倫降罰於迦勒底、

列國流離之民、當大和會、群聽斯言、木偶之上帝、不能救民、凡輦斯像而禱之者、其愚甚矣。爾曹咸集我所、共論古昔預言斯事者誰乎、非我耶和華乎、惟我為上帝、秉公義、拯兆民、我外無他、

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。
