謂北方曰、釋之返、謂南方曰、勿拘留、以我諸子攜自遠方、以我諸女返自地極、

又说：“所以，你们要从他们中间出来，离开他们，不要沾染污秽之物，我就接纳你们。我要做你们的父亲，你们要做我的儿女。这是全能的主说的。”

“‘不忠贞的子民啊，回转吧！因为我是你们的主人。我要从你们中间选些人带回锡安，每座城邑或每个宗族选一两个人。’这是耶和华说的。

那时，犹大人必与以色列人一同从北方来到我赐给你们祖先作基业的地方。“我曾想，我多么愿意把你们当成我的儿女，赐给你们万国中最肥美的土地。我原以为你们会叫我‘父亲’，再不离弃我。

你们都借着信基督耶稣而成为上帝的儿女，因为你们受洗归入基督就是披戴基督。从此不再分犹太人和希腊人，自由人和奴隶，男人和女人，因为你们都在基督耶稣里合而为一了。你们若属于基督，就是亚伯拉罕的后裔，都是照着上帝的应许承受产业的人。

那时，这身材高大、皮肤光滑、远近畏惧、强盛凶悍、国土河流纵横的民族，必带着礼物来到锡安山，献给万军之耶和华。

正如上帝在《何西阿书》上说：“本来不是我子民的，我要称他们为‘我的子民’；本来不是我所爱的，我要称他们为‘我所爱的’。从前我在什么地方对他们说，‘你们不是我的子民。’将来也要在那里对他们说，‘你们是永活上帝的儿女。’”

亚伯拉罕的后裔不一定都是亚伯拉罕的儿女，圣经上说：“以撒生的才可算为你的后裔。”这话的意思是：亚伯拉罕凭血气所生的儿女并不是上帝的儿女，只有凭应许所生的才算是他的后裔。

“然而，以色列的人数必像海沙一样量不尽、数不完。从前我在什么地方对他们说‘你们不是我的子民’，将来也要在那里对他们说‘你们是永活上帝的儿女’。那时，犹大人和以色列人将被聚集起来，为自己选立一位首领，从流亡之地返回故乡，安居乐业。耶斯列的日子将是伟大的日子。
