who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man( they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick) says:

曾使車馬軍旅勇士咸集、後盡傾仆、不能復起、盡皆滅亡、如餘燼熄滅、

who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:

He caused Egypt to send out its chariots and horses. He sent its entire army to its death. Its soldiers lay down there. They never got up again. They were destroyed. They were blown out like a dimly burning flame. But the Lord says,

the one who led chariots and horses to destruction, together with a mighty army. They fell down, never to rise again; they were extinguished, put out like a burning wick:

I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will follow after them; and I will get honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies; and the Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh.” They did so.The king of Egypt was told that the people had fled; and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was changed toward the people, and they said,“ What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?”He prepared his chariot, and took his army with him;and he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, with captains over all of them.Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel; for the children of Israel went out with a high hand.The Egyptians pursued them. The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”

and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.They went up over the width of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them.

Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In Yahweh’s name I cut them off.

After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought out of the peoples, and they will dwell securely, all of them.You will ascend. You will come like a storm. Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’“ Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, will you not know it?You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.You will come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land. It will happen in the latter days, that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I am sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.”“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Are you he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for years that I would bring you against them?It will happen in that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ that my wrath will come up into my nostrils.

You will not join them in burial, because you have destroyed your land. You have killed your people. The offspring of evildoers will not be named forever.Prepare for slaughter of his children because of the iniquity of their fathers, that they not rise up and possess the earth, and fill the surface of the world with cities.“ I will rise up against them,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and son’s son,” says Yahweh.

I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the sky,“ Come! Be gathered together to the great supper of God,that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, small and great.”I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army.The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse, the sword which came out of his mouth. All the birds were filled with their flesh.

The Egyptians pursued, and went in after them into the middle of the sea: all of Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.In the morning watch, Yahweh looked out on the Egyptian army through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and confused the Egyptian army.He took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them heavily; so that the Egyptians said,“ Let’s flee from the face of Israel, for Yahweh fights for them against the Egyptians!”Yahweh said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come again on the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.”Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it. Yahweh overthrew the Egyptians in the middle of the sea.The waters returned, and covered the chariots and the horsemen, even all Pharaoh’s army that went in after them into the sea. There remained not so much as one of them.

He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.
