So that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no one else,

It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ And I am God.

“ This is what the Lord says, He who is the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of armies:‘ I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; And, let him confront Me Beginning with My establishing of the ancient nation. Then let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place.Do not tremble and do not be afraid; Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses. Is there any God besides Me, Or is there any other Rock? I know of none.’ ”

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to live in.

but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond servant and being born in the likeness of men.

“ But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend,

He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

“ Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.

So that they may see and recognize, And consider and gain insight as well, That the hand of the Lord has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.

who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw.

just as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,

Moreover, we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.

Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, A leader and commander for the peoples.
