耶和華說：“你們就是我的見證人，我所揀選的僕人，為要使你們知道，並且相信我，又明白我就是‘那位’；在我以前沒有神被造出來，在我以後也必沒有。

“ You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.

“ People of Israel, you are my witnesses,” announces the Lord.“ I have chosen you to be my servant. I wanted you to know me and believe in me. I wanted you to understand that I am the one and only God. Before me, there was no other god at all. And there will not be any god after me.

“ You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.

“ But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord.“ You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be.

“ You are my witnesses”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and there will be none after me.

誰定這事並且作成？誰從起初預定萬代呢？就是我耶和華，我是首先的，與最後的人同在的，也是我。

“你們當記念這事，要堅定不移；悖逆的人哪！你們要留心思想。你們當記念上古以前的事，因為我是神，再沒有別的神；我是神，沒有神像我。

為要叫從日出之地到日落之地的人都知道，除了我以外，沒有真神；我是耶和華，再沒有別的神了。

我曾預告，我曾拯救，我曾說給你們聽，在你們中間沒有別的神。”耶和華說：“你們是我的見證人，我就是神。

耶和華以色列的王，以色列的救贖主、萬軍之耶和華這樣說：“我是首先的，我是末後的；除我以外，再沒有真神。誰像我呢？讓他宣告，讓他述說，又在我面前陳明吧！自從我設立古時的子民，未來的事和將要發生的事，讓他們把它們述說出來吧！你們不要驚惶，也不要懼怕。我不是老早就說了給你們聽，告訴了你們嗎？你們就是我的見證人。除我以外，還有真神嗎？沒有別的磐石；我一個也不知道。”

你們不曾知道嗎？你們不曾聽見嗎？不是從起初就已經告訴過你們嗎？自從大地的根基立了以來，你們還不曾明白嗎？神坐在大地的圓穹之上，地上的居民好像蚱蜢，他鋪張諸天如鋪張幔子，展開眾天像展開可以居住的帳棚。

反而倒空自己，取了奴僕的形象，成為人的樣式；

但你以色列，我的僕人啊！雅各，我所揀選、我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔啊！

他來是要作見證，就是為光作見證，使眾人藉著他可以相信。他不是那光，而是要為那光作見證。

看哪！這是我的僕人，我扶持他；我所揀選的，我的心喜悅他；我已經把我的靈賜給他，他必把公理帶給萬國。

好叫人看見了，就知道；思想過，就都明白，這是耶和華的手所作的，是以色列的聖者所造的。

可是聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必領受能力，並且要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地、撒瑪利亞，直到地極，作我的見證人。”

但把這些事記下來，是要你們信耶穌是基督，是神的兒子，並且使你們信了，可以因他的名得生命。

約翰把神的道，和耶穌基督的見證，凡是自己所看見的，都見證出來了。

這福音也就是你們從我們親愛的、一同作僕人（“僕人”或譯：“執事”）的以巴弗那裡學到的。他為你們作了基督忠心的僕役，

我們也會被人認為是替神作假見證的了，因為我們為神作過見證說，他使基督復活了。如果死人沒有復活，神也就沒有使基督復活了。

看哪！我已經立了他作萬族的見證人，為萬族的首領和司令。

又從那信實的見證人、死人中首先復生的、地上眾君王的統治者耶穌基督臨到你們。他愛我們，用自己的血把我們從我們的罪中釋放出來，

“你要寫信給在老底嘉教會的使者，說：‘那位阿們的，忠信真實的見證人，神創造萬有的根源，這樣說：

你們也要作見證，因為從開始你們就是跟我在一起的。”
