彼為被擄掠遭強奪之民、囚於獄、拘於監、被刼掠無人救援、遭攘奪無人言反、

为要垂听被囚者的呻吟，释放那些注定要死的人；

忘记神的人哪，你们当领悟这事，免得我撕碎你们，没有人解救！

主耶和华如此说：“先前我的子民下到埃及，在那里寄居；后来亚述人无故地欺压他们。现在这情形对我有什么意义！”这是耶和华的宣告。“我的子民被人无偿地带走；管辖他们的人在号叫；我的名终日不断地被藐视。”这是耶和华的宣告。

为要开瞎眼之人的眼睛，领被囚的出监狱，领坐在黑暗中的出牢房。

那时，逃避恐怖风声的将掉进陷坑，从陷坑中爬上来的将被网罗缠住；因为天上的窗户敞开了，大地的根基也震动了。

这地派遣信使经由海路，从水面上乘蒲草船而来。去吧，迅捷的使者们哪！到身材高大、皮肤光滑的那族，到远近之人所惧怕的那民，到极其强大、四处践踏、江河纵横其地的那族去！

“当你们看见耶路撒冷被军队包围的时候，你们那时就应当知道它的毁灭近了。那时，在犹太的人应当逃到山里；在城里的人应当出来；在乡下的人不要进城；因为这是报应的日子，为要应验经上所记载的一切。在那些日子里，孕妇和哺乳的女人有祸了！因为将有大苦难临到这地，也有震怒临到这民。他们将倒在刀口下，被掳到各国去。耶路撒冷将要被外邦人践踏，直到外邦人的日期满了。

希西加王十四年，亚述王西纳基立上来攻击犹大所有坚固的城，并攻取了它们。

你们的国土荒凉，你们的城市被火烧毁；你们的田地，在你们面前被外族人吞噬，荒凉得就像被外族人覆灭了一样。

耶稣快到耶路撒冷的时候，看见那城，就为她哭泣，说：“巴不得你在这日子里明白关乎你和平的事，但如今这事在你眼前被隐藏了。因为日子将临到你，你的敌人要筑起壁垒包围你，四面困住你。而且，他们要将你和你里面的儿女猛摔在地，不容你里面有一块石头留在另一块石头上，因为你没有认出神临到你的时候。”

是我以公义兴起了居鲁士，并要修直他一切的道路。他必重建我的城，释放我的被掳之民，不是为工价，也不是为酬报。”这是万军之耶和华说的。

他们必被聚在一起，像地牢中被囚的人；他们被关进监狱，多日以后必受惩罚。

田野中和森林中的百兽啊，你们都来吞噬吧！
