It pleased the Lord for the sake of his righteousness to make his law great and glorious.

The Lord wanted his people to see how great and glorious his law is. He wanted to show them that he always does what is right.

The Lord was pleased, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify his law and make it glorious.

Because he is righteous, the Lord has exalted his glorious law.

Because of his righteousness, the LORD was pleased to magnify his instruction and make it glorious.

The Lord was pleased for His righteousness’ sake To make the Law great and glorious.

The Lord is well pleased for His righteousness’ sake; He will exalt the law and make it honorable.

It pleased Jehovah, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law, and make it honorable.

The LORD wanted to exhibit his justice by magnifying his law and displaying it.

It pleased Yahweh, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law and make it honorable.

Jesus answered him,“ Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him to be baptized.

Therefore the Lord God of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, declares:“ Ah, I will gain satisfaction from My foes; I will take revenge against My enemies.I will turn My hand against you and will burn away your dross completely; I will remove all your impurities.I will restore your judges to what they once were, and your advisers to their former state. Afterward you will be called the Righteous City, a Faithful City.”Zion will be redeemed by justice, her repentant ones by righteousness.

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.

I delight to do Your will, my God; Your instruction lives within me.”

He will not grow weak or be discouraged until He has established justice on earth. The islands will wait for His instruction.”

“ Don’t assume that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished.Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches people to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.For I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Do we then cancel the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

Listen to me, you hardhearted, far removed from justice:I am bringing My justice near; it is not far away, and My salvation will not delay. I will put salvation in Zion, My splendor in Israel.

Your righteousness reaches heaven, God, You who have done great things; God, who is like You?

What the law could not do since it was limited by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending His own Son in flesh like ours under sin’s domain, and as a sin offering,in order that the law’s requirement would be accomplished in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

And there came a voice from heaven: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him!

When he had gone out, Jesus said,“ Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself and will glorify Him at once.

Is the law therefore contrary to God’s promises? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then righteousness would certainly be by the law.

That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God.”He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him. Listen to Him!

I have glorified You on the earth by completing the work You gave Me to do.Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with that glory I had with You before the world existed.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

His salvation is very near those who fear Him, so that glory may dwell in our land.Faithful love and truth will join together; righteousness and peace will embrace.Truth will spring up from the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven.Also, the Lord will provide what is good, and our land will yield its crops.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written: Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed.

If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love.

and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ— the righteousness from God based on faith.

I come because of the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will proclaim Your righteousness, Yours alone.

Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city— to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to wipe away iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and 62 weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.After those 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming prince will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed.He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.God presented Him to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be righteous and declare righteous the one who has faith in Jesus.

The One who sent Me is with Me. He has not left Me alone, because I always do what pleases Him.”
