聋子啊！你们要听。瞎子啊！你们要留心去看。

“耳聋之人哪，你们要听！瞎眼之人哪，你们要睁眼看！

你們這耳聾的，聽吧！你們這眼瞎的，看吧！使你們能看見。

「耳聾的人啊，聽吧！眼瞎的人啊，看吧！

聾子啊！你們要聽。瞎子啊！你們要留心去看。

At that time the deaf will be able to hear words read from a scroll, and the eyes of the blind will be able to see through deep darkness.

Then he looked up to heaven and said with a sigh,“ Ephphatha”( that is,“ Be opened”).And immediately the man’s ears were opened, his tongue loosened, and he spoke plainly.Jesus ordered them not to tell anything. But as much as he ordered them not to do this, they proclaimed it all the more.People were completely astounded and said,“ He has done everything well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

So he answered them,“ Go tell John what you have seen and heard: The blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news proclaimed to them.

Then blind eyes will open, deaf ears will hear.

The ear that hears and the eye that sees– the LORD has made them both.

Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, those who are deaf, even though they have ears!

The LORD said to him,“ Who gave a mouth to man, or who makes a person mute or deaf or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?

Because you say,“ I am rich and have acquired great wealth, and need nothing,” but do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked,take my advice and buy gold from me refined by fire so you can become rich! Buy from me white clothing so you can be clothed and your shameful nakedness will not be exposed, and buy eye salve to put on your eyes so you can see!
