公平要居住在旷野，公义要安歇在田园。

基达的羊群都聚集到你这里，尼拜约的公羊供你使用，献在我坛上蒙悦纳；我必荣耀我那荣耀的殿。

他要执掌权柄，从这海直到那海，从大河直到地极。住在旷野的必在他面前下拜，他的仇敌必要舔土。他施和海岛的王要进贡，示巴和西巴的王要献礼物。

那时，瘸子必跳跃如鹿，哑巴的舌头必欢呼。在旷野有水喷出，在沙漠有江河涌流。

我要在光秃的高地开江河，在谷中开泉源；我要使沙漠变为水池，使干地变为涌泉。我要在旷野栽植香柏树、皂荚树、番石榴树，和野橄榄树。在沙漠一同栽上松树、杉树，和黄杨树，

看哪，在山上有报佳音、传平安之人的脚踪。犹大啊，守你的节期，还你的愿吧！因为恶人不再侵犯你，他已灭绝净尽了。

主对我这样说：“一年之内，按照雇工年数的算法，基达一切的繁华必归无有。

你们当将羔羊奉送给那地的掌权者，从西拉往旷野，送到锡安的山。

祸哉！我寄居在米设，住在基达帐棚之中。

在山上报佳音，传平安，报好信息，传扬救恩，那人的脚踪何等佳美啊！他对锡安说：“你的神作王了！”

耶和华对她说：两国在你腹中；两族要从你身上分立。这族必强于那族；将来大的要服侍小的。

看哪，我要行一件新事，如今就要显明，你们岂不知道吗？我必在旷野开道路，在沙漠开江河。

摩押的居民哪，要离开城镇，住在山崖里，像鸽子在峡谷口上搭窝。

有声音呼喊着：“要在旷野为耶和华预备道路，在沙漠为我们的神修直大道。

旷野和干旱之地必然欢喜，沙漠也必快乐；又如玫瑰绽放，

住在山穴中盘据山顶的啊，你被自己的声势与心中的狂傲所蒙蔽；你虽如大鹰高高搭窝，我却要从那里拉你下来。这是耶和华说的。

住在山谷和平原磐石上的居民啊，看哪，我与你们为敌，因为你们说：‘谁能下来攻击我们？谁能进入我们的住处呢？’这是耶和华说的。

你狂傲的心欺骗了你，你住在岩穴，居所在高处，心里说：“谁能把我拉下来到地上呢？”
