雅各—我所选召的以色列啊，当听从我：我是耶和华，我是首先的，也是末后的。

我看见了他，就仆倒在他脚前，像死人一样。他用右手按着我说：“不要怕。我是首先的，是末后的，

我从起初就指明末后的事，从古时便言明未成的事，说：“我的筹算必立定；凡我所喜悦的，我必成就。”

你们是我的见证，是我所拣选的仆人，为了要使你们知道，且信服我，又明白我就是耶和华。在我以前没有任何被造的真神，在我以后也必没有。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华—以色列的君王，以色列的救赎主—万军之耶和华如此说：“我是首先的，也是末后的；除我以外再没有上帝。自从古时我设立了人，谁能像我宣告，指明，又为自己陈说呢？让他指明未来的事和必成的事吧！

你当回想上古之日，思念历代之年；问你的父亲，他必告诉你；问你的长者，他必向你述说。至高者将地业赐给列国，将世人分开，他按照神明的数目，为万民划定疆界。

主上帝说：“我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛，是今在、昔在、以后永在的全能者。”

“必有童女怀孕生子；人要称他的名为以马内利。”（以马内利翻出来就是“上帝与我们同在”。）

“你要写信给士每拿教会的使者，说：‘那首先的、末后的，死过又活了的这样说：

谁将雅各交出作为掳物，将以色列交给抢夺者呢？岂不是耶和华—我们所得罪的那位吗？他们不肯遵行他的道，也不听从他的训诲。

“先前的事，我自古已说明，已从我口而出，是我所指示的；我瞬间行事，事便成就。因为我知道你是顽梗的；你的颈项是铁的，你的额头是铜的。所以，我自古就给你说明，在事未成以先指示你，免得你说：‘这些事是我的偶像所行的，是我雕刻的偶像和铸造的神像所命定的。’“你既已听见，现在要察看这一切；你们不是要说明吗？从今以后，我要指示你新事，就是你所不知道的隐密事。这事是现今造的，并非自古就有，在今日以先，你未曾听见；免得你说：‘看哪，这事我早已知道了。’

他从一人造出万族，居住在全地面上，并且预先定准他们的年限和所住的疆界，

说：“把你所看见的写在书上，寄给以弗所、士每拿、别迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉铁非、老底嘉那七个教会。”

凡我所吩咐你们的，都教导他们遵守。看哪，我天天与你们同在，直到世代的终结。”

雅各家，以色列家所有的余民哪，你们自从生下就蒙我抱，自出母胎便由我来背，你们都要听从我。直到你们年老，我不改变；直到你们发白，我仍扶持。我已造你，就必背你；我必抱你，也必拯救。

谁曾用手心量诸水，用手虎口量苍天，用升斗盛大地的尘土，用秤称山岭，用天平称冈陵呢？

你们要向上举目，看是谁创造这万象，按数目领出它们，一一称其名，以他的权能和他的大能大力，使它们一个都不缺。
