我一看见祂，便扑倒在祂脚前，像死了一样。祂把右手按在我身上，说：“不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末后的，

我从太初就预言末后的事，从亘古就宣布将来的事。我的旨意必成就，我的计划必实现。

耶和华说：‘以色列人啊，你们是我的证人，我拣选你们做我的仆人，要叫你们认识我，相信我，明白我是耶和华，在我以前没有上帝，在我以后也没有。

“耶和华，以色列的君王和救赎主，万军之耶和华说，‘我是首先的，我是末后的，除我以外再没有真神。谁能与我相比？让他告诉我。自从我设立这古老的民族以来所发生的事和将要发生的事，让他告诉我。

“要回顾往昔，追溯历史；问你们的父亲，他们必回答你们；问你们的长者，他们必告诉你们。当初，至高者赐万国产业，把人类分开，祂依照天使的数目，为万族定疆界。

主上帝说：“我是阿拉法，我是俄梅加，我是昔在、今在、以后永在的全能者。”

“必有童贞女怀孕生子，祂的名字要叫以马内利，意思是‘上帝与我们同在’。”

“你要写信告诉士每拿教会的天使，那位首先的、末后的、死而复活的主说，

谁把雅各交给了掳掠者，使以色列任人劫掠？难道不是被我们得罪的耶和华吗？他们不肯遵行祂的道，也不听从祂的训诲。

“过去所发生的事，我很久以前就预言过、亲口宣告过，然后使它们瞬间发生。我知道你顽梗，有铁一般的颈项，铜一般的额头。所以，在很久以前，事情还没有发生时就向你预言这些事，免得你说这些是你的偶像做的，是你雕刻和铸造的偶像命定的。“你已经听见了，看看这一切，难道你还不承认吗？现在我要把新事，把你不知道的隐秘事告诉你。这些事过去没有，现在才有，在今天以前你从未听过，免得你说，‘这些事我早就知道了。’

祂从一人造出万族，让他们散居世界各地，又预先定下他们的期限和居住的疆界，

祂从亘古就显明了这事。

“把你所看见的写在书上，然后送给以弗所、士每拿、别迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉铁非和老底嘉七间教会。”

教导他们遵守我吩咐你们的一切。记住，我必常与你们同在，一直到世界的末了。”

耶和华说：“雅各家啊，以色列家的余民啊，要听我说。你们一出生，我就照顾你们；一出母胎，我就呵护你们。即使你们年老发白的时候，我仍然一如既往地扶持你们。我造了你们，必照顾你们，扶持你们，拯救你们。

谁曾用手心量海水？谁曾用手掌度苍天？谁曾用升斗盛大地的尘土？谁曾用秤称高山，用天平称丘陵？

你们向天举目，看看是谁创造了这万象？是谁把众星一一领出来，给它们取名？祂的权柄和能力极大无比，它们一个也不会少。
