我使義人崛興、自北而至、亦在日出之鄉、以籲我名、糜爛牧伯、如匠人之擣土、如陶人之躪泥、

“我从北方兴起一人；他是求告我名的，从日出之地而来。他必临到掌权的，好像临到灰泥，仿佛窑匠踹泥一样。

我自北方興起一人、呼籲我名、彼自日出之鄉而至、將踐牧伯如土、若陶人之躪泥、

惟彼籲籲或作宣告我名者、我激之來自北方、自日出之鄉而至、以蹂躪侯伯、猶如泥土、如陶人之踐泥然、

“ I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes— one from the rising sun who calls on my name. He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he were a potter treading the clay.

“ I have stirred up a king who will come from the north. He lives in the east. He will bring honor to me. He walks all over rulers as if they were mud. He steps on them just as a potter stomps on clay.

I stirred up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, and he shall call upon my name; he shall trample on rulers as on mortar, as the potter treads clay.

“ But I have stirred up a leader who will approach from the north. From the east he will call on my name. I will give him victory over kings and princes. He will trample them as a potter treads on clay.

“ I have stirred up one from the north, and he has come, one from the east who invokes my name. He will march over rulers as if they were mud, like a potter who treads the clay.

“ I have put one from the north into motion, and he has come; From the rising of the sun he will call on My name; And he will come upon rulers as upon mortar, As the potter treads on clay.”

“ I have raised up one from the north, And he shall come; From the rising of the sun he shall call on My name; And he shall come against princes as though mortar, As the potter treads clay.

I have raised up one from the north, and he is come; from the rising of the sun one that calleth upon my name: and he shall come upon rulers as upon mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.

“ I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

誰召義人、至自東方、導之以行、服眾國、制列王、以鋒刃擊敵、以弓矢射眾、擣之成粉、若風揚秕、

我擣之使細、可儗塵沙、我踐之若衢路之泥。

我民偽善、我必震怒、使亞述人擊之、攘奪其貨、蹂躪其身、若逵衢之糞壤。

我敵見之、含羞抱愧、昔彼問我云、爾之上帝耶和華安在、今遭蹂躪、若衢路之泥、我目睹之。

譬彼英豪、戰鬥之時、蹂躪敵人、若衢路之泥、耶和華祐之、戰無不利、使乘者抱愧。

我萬有之主耶和華、使古列、屹然而立、道途坦易、以彰我義、彼必復建我聖邑、釋我俘囚、不望賞賚。

當舉旌旆於斯土、吹角於民間、使列邦攻之、會集亞喇臘、米尼、亞實基拿人、立武夫長、使驍騎咸至、若蝗眾多。使米太君民、牧伯長者、與其眾庶、攻巴比倫、使民戰慄、蓋我耶和華已定厥志、攻巴比倫、使之荒蕪、無人居處斯言必應。

我得默示、知患難將至、強者行攘奪、暴者行虐遇、無所禁止、以攔人、米太人往哉、環攻巴比倫、維昔巴比倫俾民哀號、己不令此聲入耳矣。

巴西王古列曰、天上上帝耶和華、以天下列國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷建殿、以奉其名。以色列之上帝耶和華誠為上帝、凡爾遴選之民、可往猶大之耶路撒冷、建置殿宇、願上帝祐之。

召古列為我牧伯、以成我志。我使彼言耶路撒冷必得建造、又言聖殿、必得肇基。耶和華告受膏古列曰、我左右爾、使列國賓服、使諸王荏弱、大啟邑門、不能閉拒。我備爾道、使曲為直、毀敵銅門、斷敵鐵楗、貨財藏於密室、我以之錫爾、俾爾知命爾名者、乃我耶和華以色列族之上帝。爾雖不知予、我命爾名、畀以尊號、俾爾救我所選之臣僕、雅各家以色列族。爾雖不知予、我賜爾力、我耶和華獨為上帝、其外無他、自日出之鄉、日入之所、俾咸知我耶和華、獨一無二、其外無他。

民自北至、攻巴比倫、人民群畜、刧掠一空、地變荒蕪、無人居處。

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。召彼鷙鳥、至自東土、我所簡者、來自遠方、我言已出、必踐之、我意已定、必成之、
