You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

You will toss them in the air. A strong wind will catch them and blow them away. You will be glad because I will make that happen. You will praise me. I am the Holy One of Israel.

毀滅巴比倫人的日子一到，我要差遣外族人從四面八方攻擊、消滅他們，如同狂風捲走碎稭。

耶和華啊！你是我的上帝，我要尊崇你，讚美你的名。你信實無比，按你古時定下的計劃行了奇妙的事。你使城邑淪為廢墟，使堅壘淪為荒場。外族人的宮殿不復存在，永遠不能重建。因此，強盛的國家必頌揚你，殘暴的民族必敬畏你。

錫安的居民啊，高聲歡呼吧！因為住在你們當中的以色列的聖者無比偉大。」

我要在這片土地上的各城門口用簸箕簸散我的子民，使他們喪掉兒女；我要滅絕他們，因為他們不思悔改。

上帝使你們活在基督耶穌裡，祂使基督耶穌成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔和救贖。所以，正如聖經上說：「要誇耀，就當誇耀主的作為。」

他們必說，『只有耶和華那裡才有公義和能力。』」向祂發怒的必在祂面前蒙羞。以色列的後裔必被耶和華稱為義人，得到榮耀。

耶和華說：「智者不要誇耀自己的智慧，勇士不要誇耀自己的力量，富人不要誇耀自己的財富。若有人誇耀，就讓他誇耀自己認識我是耶和華，知道我喜歡在地上憑慈愛、公平和正義行事。這是耶和華說的。」

瑪麗亞說：「我的心尊主為大，我的靈因我的救主上帝而歡喜，

雖然萬民喧囂如洶湧的洪水，但上帝一聲斥責，他們便逃往遠方，像山頂上被風捲走的糠秕，又如狂風颳走的塵埃。

哈娜禱告說：「我的心因耶和華而歡喜，我的力量因耶和華而倍增，我的口向敵人誇耀，我因耶和華的拯救而快樂。「耶和華聖潔無比，獨一無二，沒有磐石像我們的上帝。

我仍要因耶和華而歡欣，因拯救我的上帝而喜樂。

惡人的光景卻截然不同！他們就像被風吹散的糠秕。

因為真正受割禮的人是我們這些靠著上帝的靈敬拜、以基督耶穌為榮、不倚靠自身條件的人。

不但如此，我們藉著主耶穌基督與上帝和好之後，還要藉著祂在上帝面前歡喜。

祂手拿簸箕，要把穀場清理乾淨，將麥子存入倉裡，用不滅的火把糠秕燒盡。」

我因耶和華而無比喜樂，因我的上帝而心裡快樂，因為祂給我穿上救恩的衣服、披上公義的袍子，使我像戴上華冠的新郎，又像戴上飾物的新娘。大地怎樣使嫩苗長出，園子怎樣使種子發芽，主耶和華必照樣使公義與頌讚在萬民中滋長。
