爾當仰觀、天象羅布、有若軍旅、上帝以巨能大力、創造星辰、呼其名、核其數、無不應命。

爾向高舉目而觀、思此諸物為誰所造、天之萬象、主核其數而攜之出、天之萬象主核其數而攜之出或作惟主使天之萬象按數而顯皆道其名、蓋以主之大能大力、無不應命也、○

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Look up toward the sky. Who created everything you see? The Lord causes the stars to come out at night one by one. He calls out each one of them by name. His power and strength are great. So none of the stars is missing.

Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.

You see everything people do. You reward each of them for the way they live and for the things they do.

Look up at the sky! Look at the earth below! For the sky will dissipate like smoke, and the earth will wear out like clothes; its residents will die like gnats. But the deliverance I give is permanent; the vindication I provide will not disappear.

The heavens belong to you, as does the earth. You made the world and all it contains.You created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.Your arm is powerful, your hand strong, your right hand victorious.

Yes, my hand founded the earth; my right hand spread out the sky. I summon them; they stand together.

for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him– all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers– all things were created through him and for him.He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.

This is what the true God, the LORD, says– the one who created the sky and stretched it out, the one who fashioned the earth and everything that lives on it, the one who gives breath to the people on it, and life to those who live on it:

I am the one who forms light and creates darkness; the one who brings about peace and creates calamity. I am the LORD, who accomplishes all these things.

Praise him, O sun and moon! Praise him, all you shiny stars!Praise him, O highest heaven, and you waters above the sky!Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he gave the command and they came into existence.He established them so they would endure; he issued a decree that will not be revoked.

Carefully read the scroll of the LORD! Not one of these creatures will be missing, none will lack a mate. For the LORD has issued the decree, and his own spirit gathers them.

He counts the number of the stars; he names all of them.Our Lord is great and has awesome power; there is no limit to his wisdom.

You people of Israel should tell those nations this:‘ These gods did not make heaven and earth. They will disappear from the earth and from under the heavens.’The LORD is the one who by his power made the earth. He is the one who by his wisdom established the world. And by his understanding he spread out the skies.

if I looked at the sun when it was shining, and the moon advancing as a precious thing,so that my heart was secretly enticed, and my hand threw them a kiss from my mouth,then this also would be iniquity to be judged, for I would have been false to God above.

In earlier times you established the earth; the skies are your handiwork.

When I look up at the heavens, which your fingers made, and see the moon and the stars, which you set in place,Of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should pay attention to them,

The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays his handiwork.

When you look up to the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars– the whole heavenly creation– you must not be seduced to worship and serve them, for the LORD your God has assigned them to all the people of the world.

This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the one who formed you in the womb:“ I am the LORD, who made everything, who alone stretched out the sky, who fashioned the earth all by myself,

The heavens and the earth were completed with everything that was in them.By the seventh day God finished the work that he had been doing, and he ceased on the seventh day all the work that he had been doing.
