爾其仰觀、凡此天象、為誰所造、誰核其數、而導之出、悉呼其名、因有大能大力、無不應命、○

爾當仰觀、天象羅布、有若軍旅、上帝以巨能大力、創造星辰、呼其名、核其數、無不應命。

爾向高舉目而觀、思此諸物為誰所造、天之萬象、主核其數而攜之出、天之萬象主核其數而攜之出或作惟主使天之萬象按數而顯皆道其名、蓋以主之大能大力、無不應命也、○

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Look up toward the sky. Who created everything you see? The Lord causes the stars to come out at night one by one. He calls out each one of them by name. His power and strength are great. So none of the stars is missing.

‘ Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,who shows mercy to thousands, but repays the wrongdoing of fathers into the laps of their children after them, great and mighty God. The Lord of armies is His name;great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of mankind, giving to everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds;

Raise your eyes to the sky, Then look to the earth beneath; For the sky will vanish like smoke, And the earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants will die in the same way. But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not fail.

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all it contains, You have established them.The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon shout for joy at Your name.You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted.

Assuredly My hand founded the earth, And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together.

for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him.He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

This is what God the Lord says, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it:

The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well being and creating disaster; I am the Lord who does all these things.

Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light!Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens!They are to praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree, and it will not pass away.

Seek from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these will be missing; None will lack its mate. For His mouth has commanded, And His Spirit has gathered them.

He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them.Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.

This is what you shall say to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

If I have looked at the sun when it shone, Or the moon going in splendor,And my heart was secretly enticed, And my hand threw a kiss from my mouth,That too would have been a guilty deed calling for judgment, For I would have denied God above.

In time of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have set in place;What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him?

The heavens tell of the glory of God; And their expanse declares the work of His hands.

And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the heavenly lights, and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb:“ I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,

And so the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their heavenly lights.By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
