而是按公义审判贫穷人，以公正为受苦者断案。他必用口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。

看啊，耶和华的怒气像暴风一样袭来，像旋风一样吹到恶人头上。

他们何曾像风中的碎秸，像被暴风卷去的糠秕？

那时，恐惧如风暴袭击你们，灾难如旋风临到你们，忧愁和苦难吞没你们。

预备杀戮他的子孙吧，因为他们的祖先罪恶深重，免得他们兴起统治世界、到处建造城邑。”万军之耶和华说：“我必攻击巴比伦，铲除巴比伦的名号、余民和后裔。这是耶和华说的。

他们被上帝的气息所毁，被上帝的怒气所灭。

使它们在栽种的当天早上就生长开花，也必一无所获。你们得到的只是艰难和无尽的痛苦。

焚烧之地——陀斐特早已为亚述王预备好了，那里又宽又深，堆着许多木柴，耶和华的气必如同一股硫磺火点燃那些木柴。
