He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

God sits on his throne high above the earth. Its people look like grasshoppers to him. He spreads out the heavens like a cover. He sets it up like a tent to live in.

披上亮光，如披外袍，鋪張穹蒼，如鋪幔子，

耶和華如此說：「天是我的座位；地是我的腳凳。你們能為我造怎樣的殿宇呢？哪裏是我安歇的地方呢？

那創造諸天，鋪張穹蒼，鋪開地與地的出產，賜氣息給地上眾人，賜生命給行走其上之人的上帝耶和華如此說：

我們在那裏看見巨人，就是巨人中的亞衲族人。我們在自己眼中像蚱蜢一樣，而在他們眼中，我們也確是這樣。」

他獨自鋪張諸天，步行在海浪之上。

從你在母腹中就造了你，你的救贖主－耶和華如此說：「我－耶和華創造萬物，獨自鋪張諸天，親自展開大地；

就是那駕行在亙古的諸天之上的主！聽啊，他發出聲音，是極大的聲音。

耶和華以能力創造大地，以智慧建立世界，以聰明鋪張穹蒼。

密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見；他周遊穹蒼。』

列國在他面前如同不存在，在他看來微不足道，只是虛空。

他又說：「主啊，你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手所造的。天地都會消滅，你卻長存；天地都會像衣服漸漸舊了；你要將天地捲起來，像捲一件外衣，天地像衣服都會改變。你卻永不改變；你的年數沒有窮盡。」

卻忘記鋪張諸天、立定地基、造你的耶和華？你因欺壓者圖謀毀滅所發的暴怒，終日害怕，其實那欺壓者的暴怒在哪裏呢？

又有誰能明白密雲如何鋪張，和上帝行宮的雷聲呢？

他立高天，我在那裏，他在淵面的周圍劃出圓圈，

你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手所造的。天地都會消滅，你卻長存；天地都會像外衣漸漸舊了。你要將天地如內衣更換，天地就都改變了。

耶和華坐在洪水之上為王；耶和華坐着為王，直到永遠。

「我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裏？你若明白事理，只管說吧！你知道是誰定地的尺度，是誰把準繩拉在其上嗎？地的根基安置在何處？地的角石是誰安放的？那時，晨星一同歌唱；上帝的眾使者也都歡呼。「當海水衝出，如出母胎，誰用門將它關閉呢？是我用雲彩當海的衣服，用幽暗當包裹它的布，

那坐在天上的必譏笑，主必嗤笑他們。

看哪，列國都像水桶裏的一滴，又如天平上的微塵；看哪，他舉起眾海島，好像舉起極微小之物。

論埃及的默示。看哪，耶和華乘駕快雲，臨到埃及；埃及的偶像在他面前戰兢，埃及人的心在裏面消溶。

耶和華的默示，他的話論到以色列。鋪張諸天、建立地基、造人裏面之靈的耶和華說：

你豈能與上帝同鋪穹蒼，堅固如同鑄成的鏡子嗎？
