耶和華說：「天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳，你們要為我造怎樣的殿宇？哪裡可作我的安歇之處？

創造諸天、鋪展穹蒼、設立大地和地上的一切、賜給世人生命氣息和靈性的耶和華上帝說：

我們在那裡看見了亞衲人的子孫，他們是巨人的後裔，我們跟他們相比就像蚱蜢，他們看我們也像蚱蜢。」

祂獨自鋪展穹蒼，步行在海浪之上。

在母腹中造你、救贖你的耶和華說：「我是創造萬物的耶和華，我獨自鋪展穹蒼，開闢大地。

歌頌凌駕在萬古穹蒼之上的主。聽啊，祂聲如雷鳴。

當祂在穹蒼巡弋時，密雲擋住祂的視線。』

萬國在祂面前都算不得什麼，在祂看來不過是虛無。

此外又說：「主啊，太初你奠立大地的根基，親手創造諸天。天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。天地都會像衣服漸漸破舊，你要像捲外衣一樣把天地捲起來。天地將如衣服一樣被更換，但你永遠不變，你的年日永無窮盡。」

難道你忘記了創造你、鋪展穹蒼、奠立大地根基的耶和華嗎？難道因為試圖毀滅你的欺壓者大發怒氣，你就整天驚恐不安嗎？他們的怒氣如今在哪裡呢？

誰能明白雲層的鋪展，及祂幔幕發出的雷聲？

祂鋪設諸天的時候，我已在場。祂在深淵上畫出地平線，

太初你奠立大地的根基，親手創造諸天。天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。天地都會像外衣漸漸破舊，你必更換天地，如同更換衣服，天地都要消逝。

耶和華坐在洪濤之上，耶和華永遠坐著為王。

「我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裡？你若那麼聰明，請告訴我。你可知道誰為大地定的尺寸？誰用準繩把它丈量？是什麼支撐大地的根基？誰為它安放的基石？當時晨星齊聲歌唱，眾天使都發出歡呼。「大海從母胎奔騰而出時，誰為它劃定界限？是我為大海披上雲彩，為它裹上厚厚的幽暗。

坐在天上寶座上的主必笑他們，祂必嘲笑他們。

看啊，列國就像水桶中的一滴水，又如天平上的塵埃。祂舉起眾海島，好像捧起微塵。

以下是關於埃及的預言：看啊，耶和華駕著疾馳的雲來到埃及。埃及的偶像在祂面前顫抖，埃及人膽戰心驚。

以下是耶和華關於以色列的啟示。鋪展穹蒼、奠立大地的根基、塑造人靈魂的耶和華說：

你能像祂那樣鋪展堅如銅鏡的穹蒼嗎？
