诸天宣扬上帝的公义，因为祂是审判官。（细拉）

“你们这些悖逆的人啊，要将这些事铭记在心。

我亲手奠立大地的根基，我的右手铺展穹苍。我一呼唤，它们都侍立一旁。

却从未停止用美善的事证实自己的存在。祂常施恩惠，降下甘霖，赏赐丰年，又叫你们衣食饱足，满心喜乐。”

有关上帝的事情，可以让人类知道的都已经显而易见，因为上帝已经向人类显明了。自从创造天地以来，上帝永恒的大能和神性是明明可知的，虽然肉眼看不见，但透过受造之物就可以领悟，因而人类毫无借口推说不知。他们虽然明知有上帝，却不把祂当作上帝，既不将荣耀归给祂，也不感谢祂。他们的思想因此变得荒谬无用，无知的心也变得昏暗不明。

那些制造它们、信靠它们的人也会和它们一样。

既然他们故意不认识上帝，上帝就任凭他们心思败坏，做不当做的事。

难道你忘记了创造你、铺展穹苍、奠立大地根基的耶和华吗？难道因为试图毁灭你的欺压者大发怒气，你就整天惊恐不安吗？他们的怒气如今在哪里呢？

树枝枯干断落，妇女拿去作柴烧。因为以色列人愚昧无知，所以他们的创造主不怜悯他们，也不向他们施恩。

他们以灰为食，心智迷糊，走入歧途，不能自救，也不会说：“我右手拿的神像不是假的吗？”

那么，犹太人有什么长处呢？割礼有什么价值呢？其实益处非常多！首先，上帝的圣言托付给了犹太人。

诸天述说上帝的荣耀，穹苍传扬祂的作为。它们日复一日地诉说，夜复一夜地宣扬，无言无语，无声无息。它们的声音传遍天下，它们的话语传到地极。上帝在天上为太阳设立居所。太阳出来时，如步出洞房的新郎，又如欢然奔跑赛程的健儿。

他们都愚昧无知，毫无用处的木制偶像能教导他们什么呢？偶像上的银片来自他施，金片来自乌法，都是匠人的制品，这些偶像穿的蓝色和紫色衣服是巧匠制作的。唯有耶和华是真神，是永活的上帝，是永恒的君王。祂一发怒，大地便震动，万国都无法承受。你们要这样对他们说：“那些神明没有创造天地，它们将从天下消亡。”耶和华施展大能，用智慧创造大地和世界，巧妙地铺展穹苍。
