Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.

Speak tenderly to the people of Jerusalem. Announce to them that their hard labor has been completed. Tell them that their sin has been paid for. Tell them the Lord has punished them enough for all their sins.”

“ Speak kindly to Jerusalem, and tell her that her time of warfare is over, that her punishment is completed. For the LORD has made her pay double for all her sins.”

Turn to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope! Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.

Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.

“ Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.

First I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.”

I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against me. Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.

I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.

For behold, the winter is past. The rain is over and gone.The flowers appear on the earth. The time of the singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.The fig tree ripens her green figs. The vines are in blossom. They give out their fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.”

“ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says Yahweh:“ I will put my law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.They will no longer each teach his neighbor, and every man teach his brother, saying,‘ Know Yahweh;’ for they will all know me, from their least to their greatest,” says Yahweh:“ for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Some of those who are wise will fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.

Tell those who have a fearful heart,“ Be strong! Don’t be afraid! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, God’s retribution. He will come and save you.

Yes, the set time has come.For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.So the nations will fear Yahweh’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah.For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;to hear the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death;that men may declare Yahweh’s name in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.I said,“ My God, don’t take me away in the middle of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.But you are the same. Your years will have no end.The children of your servants will continue. Their offspring will be established before you.”

But Yahweh says,“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the plunder retrieved from the fierce, for I will contend with him who contends with you and I will save your children.

He said,“ Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

They cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.

The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”The twenty- four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,saying:“ We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power and reigned.The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

The inhabitant won’t say,“ I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.

Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.

He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil; for under the whole sky, such has not been done as has been done to Jerusalem.

He said to them,“ It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.

in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years about which Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years.

Let them be disappointed who persecute me, but let not me be disappointed. Let them be dismayed, but don’t let me be dismayed. Bring on them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non- existent thing.For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’

I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, but they added to the calamity.”

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased.”

“ Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.“ Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty- two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.After the sixty- two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.He will make a firm covenant with many for one week. In the middle of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. On the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, wrath will be poured out on the desolate.”

His soul joined to Dinah, the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the young lady, and spoke kindly to the young lady.
