此外又说：“主啊，太初你奠立大地的根基，亲手创造诸天。天地都要消亡，但你永远长存。天地都会像衣服渐渐破旧，你要像卷外衣一样把天地卷起来。天地将如衣服一样被更换，但你永远不变，你的年日永无穷尽。”

那时耶和华还没有造大地和原野，还没有造一粒尘土。祂铺设诸天的时候，我已在场。祂在深渊上画出地平线，上使穹苍坚固，下使深渊的泉源安稳，

我又看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得无影无踪。

“你能测度上帝的深奥，探索全能者的极限吗？那可比诸天还高，你能做什么？那可比阴间还深，你能知道什么？那可比大地还宽广，比海洋还辽阔。

你身披光华如披外袍，你铺展穹苍如铺幔子。你在水中设立自己楼阁的栋梁。你以云彩为车驾，乘风飞驰。

祂定下风的重量，量出水的规模；
