As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so I will seek out my sheep. I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.I will feed them with good pasture; and their fold will be on the mountains of the height of Israel. There they will lie down in a good fold. They will feed on fat pasture on the mountains of Israel.

from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.

Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus,

“ I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will feed them in justice.”’

saying to those who are bound,‘ Come out!’; to those who are in darkness,‘ Show yourselves!’“ They shall feed along the paths, and their pasture shall be on all treeless heights.They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them. He will guide them by springs of water.

Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring justice.

But his bow remained strong. The arms of his hands were made strong, by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob,( from there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),

When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.
