As a shepherd cares for his flock on a day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing place will be on the mountain heights of Israel. Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,

“ I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will eliminate. I will feed them with judgment.

Saying to those who are bound,‘ Go free,’ To those who are in darkness,‘ Show yourselves.’ They will feed along the roads, And their pasture will be on all bare heights.They will not hunger or thirst, Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; For He who has compassion on them will lead them, And He will guide them to springs of water.

Listen, Shepherd of Israel, Who leads Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!

A bent reed He will not break off And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.

But his bow remained firm, And his arms were agile, From the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob( From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),
