“‘ This is the Lord’s sign to you that the Lord will do what he has promised:

“‘ “Here is a sign from me. It will show you that I will heal you, just as I promised I would.

“ This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that he has promised:

“‘ And this is the sign from the Lord to prove that he will do as he promised:

This is the sign to you from the LORD that he will do what he has promised:

And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken:

And this shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do this thing that he hath spoken:

This is the sign to you from the Lord that He will do what He has promised:

And this[ shall be] a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;

Isaiah replied,“ This is your sign from the LORD confirming that the LORD will do what he has said:

This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do this thing that he has spoken.

behold, I am putting a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I will know that You will save Israel through me, as You have spoken.”And it was so. When he got up early the next morning and wrung out the fleece, he wrung the dew from the fleece, a bowl full of water.Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not let Your anger burn against me, so that I may speak only one more time; please let me put You to the test only one more time with the fleece: let it now be dry only on the fleece, and let there be dew on all the ground.”

“ Then this shall be the sign for you: you will eat this year what grows of itself, in the second year what grows from the same, and in the third year sow, harvest, plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.

So Gideon said to Him,“ If now I have found favor in Your sight, then perform for me a sign that it is You speaking with me.Please do not depart from here until I come back to You, and bring out my offering and lay it before You.” And He said,“ I will remain until you return.”Then Gideon went in and prepared a young goat and unleavened bread from an ephah of flour; he put the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot, and brought them out to him under the oak and presented them.And the angel of God said to him,“ Take the meat and the unleavened bread and lay them on this rock, and pour out the broth.” And he did so.Then the angel of the Lord put out the end of the staff that was in his hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread; and fire came up from the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread. Then the angel of the Lord vanished from his sight.When Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the Lord, he said,“ Oh, Lord God! For I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

Now Hezekiah said to Isaiah,“ What will be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I will go up to the house of the Lord on the third day?”Isaiah said,“ This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will perform the word that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?”So Hezekiah said,“ It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but have the shadow turn backward ten steps.”Then Isaiah the prophet called out to the Lord, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.At that time Berodach baladan, a son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah, because he heard that Hezekiah had been sick.And Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all his treasure house, the silver, the gold, the balsam oil, the scented oil, the house of his armor, and everything that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house nor in all his realm that Hezekiah did not show them.Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him,“ What did these men say, and from where have they come to you?” And Hezekiah said,“ They have come from a far country, from Babylon.”Isaiah said,“ What have they seen in your house?” So Hezekiah answered,“ They have seen everything that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasuries that I have not shown them.”Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah,“ Hear the word of the Lord:‘ Behold, the days are coming when everything that is in your house, and what your fathers have stored up to this day, will be carried to Babylon; nothing will be left,’ says the Lord.‘ And some of your sons who will come from you, whom you will father, will be taken away; and they will become officials in the palace of the king of Babylon.’ ”Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah,“ The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good.” For he thought,“ Is it not good, if there will be peace and security in my days?”Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah and all his might, and how he constructed the pool and the conduit and brought water into the city, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?So Hezekiah lay down with his fathers, and his son Manasseh became king in his place.

“ Ask for a sign for yourself from the Lord your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven.”But Ahaz said,“ I will not ask, nor will I put the Lord to the test!”Then he said,“ Listen now, house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well?Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.

Then Hezekiah had said,“ What is the sign that I will go up to the house of the Lord?”
