And this[ shall be] a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;

“‘ This is the Lord’s sign to you that the Lord will do what he has promised:

“‘ “Here is a sign from me. It will show you that I will heal you, just as I promised I would.

“ This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that he has promised:

“‘ And this is the sign from the Lord to prove that he will do as he promised:

This is the sign to you from the LORD that he will do what he has promised:

“ And this shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will perform this word that He has spoken:

And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken:

And this shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do this thing that he hath spoken:

This is the sign to you from the Lord that He will do what He has promised:

Isaiah replied,“ This is your sign from the LORD confirming that the LORD will do what he has said:

This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do this thing that he has spoken.

Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor;[ and] if the dew be on the fleece only, and[ it be] dry upon all the earth[ beside], then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

And this[ shall be] a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat[ this] year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me.Depart not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee, and bring forth my present, and set[ it] before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again.And Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought[ it] out unto him under the oak, and presented[ it].And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay[ them] upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that[ was] in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.And when Gideon perceived that he[ was] an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What[ shall be] the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and[ all] the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country,[ even] from Babylon.And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All[ the things] that[ are] in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.Behold, the days come, that all that[ is] in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good[ is] the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said,[ Is it] not[ good], if peace and truth be in my days?And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city,[ are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David;[ Is it] a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Hezekiah also had said, What[ is] the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD?
