Isaiah had said,“ Prepare a poultice of figs and apply it to the boil, and he will recover.”

When Hezekiah was sick, Isaiah had said,“ Press some figs together. Spread them on a piece of cloth. Apply them to Hezekiah’s boil. Then he’ll get well again.”

Now Isaiah had said,“ Let them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, that he may recover.”

Then Isaiah said,“ Bring a lump of pressed figs.” So they brought it and applied it to his infected skin, and he recovered.Hezekiah had asked Isaiah,“ What is the sign that the Lord will heal me and that I will go up to the Lord’s temple on the third day?”

So He took him away from the crowd privately. After putting His fingers in the man’s ears and spitting, He touched his tongue.
