陰府不能頌美爾、死亡不能讚揚爾、入坑坎者、不得望爾之誠實、

陰府死亡之輩、不能彰爾榮譽、臨墓入土之人、不得望爾踐言、

For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

People in the grave can’t praise you. Dead people can’t sing praise to you. Those who go down to the grave can’t hope for you to be faithful to them.

For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.

For the dead cannot praise you; they cannot raise their voices in praise. Those who go down to the grave can no longer hope in your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank you; Death cannot praise you. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.

Indeed Sheol does not give you thanks; death does not praise you. Those who descend into the pit do not anticipate your faithfulness.

For Sheol can’t praise you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit can’t hope for your truth.

凡爾手所經營之事、當盡力經營、因爾所將往之示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓無經營、無計謀、無知識、無智慧、○

死後無人記憶主、在示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓誰能稱讚主、

曰、使我死亡、使我入墓、有何裨益、塵土豈能讚美主、述說主之誠實、

彼眾及凡所有、生墮示阿勒、後為地所覆、滅於會中、

惡人行惡而見逐、善人臨死而有望、

此人必入永刑、惟義者必入永生焉、

不第此也、爾我之間、限一巨壑、欲由此過爾處不能、由彼過我處亦不能、曰、若是、則求祖遣拉撒路往我父家、因我有兄弟五人、使拉撒路警戒之、免其亦來此痛苦之處、亞伯拉罕曰、彼有摩西及諸先知可聽之、對曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、不然也、若有由死復活者就之、彼必悔改、亞伯拉罕曰、不聽摩西及先知、縱有由死復活者、彼亦不信、

而國之諸子、必見逐於外幽暗之地、在彼必有哀哭切齒、

已死者不能頌揚主、入幽寂地者不能頌揚主、惟我儕必讚美主、從今日至於永遠、阿勒盧亞、

主豈為死人施展奇行、陰靈豈能起而讚美主乎、細拉、在墓中豈能宣揚主之恩惠、在滅亡之地、滅亡之地原文作亞巴盾豈能宣揚主之誠實、
