阴间不能称谢你，死亡不能赞美你，下坟墓的人不能仰望你的信实。

陰府不能頌美爾、死亡不能讚揚爾、入坑坎者、不得望爾之誠實、

陰府死亡之輩、不能彰爾榮譽、臨墓入土之人、不得望爾踐言、

For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

People in the grave can’t praise you. Dead people can’t sing praise to you. Those who go down to the grave can’t hope for you to be faithful to them.

For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.

For the dead cannot praise you; they cannot raise their voices in praise. Those who go down to the grave can no longer hope in your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank you; Death cannot praise you. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.

Indeed Sheol does not give you thanks; death does not praise you. Those who descend into the pit do not anticipate your faithfulness.

凡你的手能做的，都要尽力去做，因为在你要去的阴间没有工作，没有计划，也没有知识和智慧。

因为死去的人不会记得你，谁会在阴间赞美你呢？

“耶和华啊，我被毁灭、落入坟墓有何益处？我归于尘土，还能赞美你、宣扬你的信实吗？

他们和属于他们的一切就这样活活地坠入阴间，地在他们上面合拢起来，他们就从会众中灭亡了。

恶人因恶行而灭亡，义人到死仍有倚靠。

这些人要受永远的刑罚，但义人要得到永远的生命。”

况且，在你我中间隔着一道深渊，这边的人不能到你那边去，你那边的人也不能到这里来。’“财主说，‘我的先祖啊，那么求你派拉撒路去我父亲家里，因为我有五个弟兄。让拉撒路去警告他们，以免他们也来到这痛苦的地方。’“但是亚伯拉罕却说，‘他们可以听从摩西和众先知的话呀！’“财主回答说，‘我的先祖亚伯拉罕啊！他们不会听的。但如果有一个死而复活的人去警告他们，他们肯定会悔改！’“亚伯拉罕说，‘如果他们不听从摩西和众先知的话，即使一个人从死里复活，他们也不会信服。’”

但那些本应承受天国的人反会被赶出去，在黑暗里哀哭切齿。”

死人不能歌颂耶和华，下到坟墓的人不能赞美祂。但我们要赞美耶和华，从现在直到永远。你们要赞美耶和华！

你要行神迹给死人看吗？死人会起来赞美你吗？（细拉）坟墓里的死人怎能宣扬你的慈爱呢？灭亡的人怎能传扬你的信实呢？
