『因此永恆主論亞述王是這樣說的：「他不會來到這城，也不會射箭到這裏；不會拿盾牌臨到城前，也不會倒土堆攻城。

“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不筑垒攻城。

“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不能建土堆攻城。

“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不能建土堆攻城。

至于亚述王，耶和华说，‘他必不能进城或向这里射一箭，必不能手持盾牌兵临城下或修筑攻城的高台。

所以耶和华这样论到亚述王，说：‘他必不会来到这城，也不会在这里射箭；不会拿着盾牌来到城前，也不会筑土垒攻城。

“因此，耶和华论到亚述王如此说：‘他必不进入这城，也不在这里射箭；他必不拿着盾牌兵临城下，也不筑起土垒攻城；

「所以耶和華論亞述王如此說：他必不得來到這城，也不在這裏射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不築壘攻城。

「所以耶和華論亞述王如此說：他必不得來到這城，也不在這裏射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不能建土堆攻城。

至於亞述王，耶和華說，『他必不能進城或向這裡射一箭，必不能手持盾牌兵臨城下或修築攻城的高臺。

故耶和華指亞述王曰、彼必不至此城、不射一矢於彼、不執干至其前、不築壘以攻之、

遂指亞述王、語民曰、彼必不入此城、不以干戈弓矢陳於前、不築壘以攻擊、

故主論亞述王曰、彼必不入此城、不射矢於其中、不執干戈至於其前、不築壘以攻之、

“ Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the king of Assyria:“ He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow here. He will not come before it with shield or build a siege ramp against it.

“ Here is a message from me about the king of Assyria. I say,“‘ He will not enter this city. He will not even shoot an arrow at it. He will not come near it with a shield. He will not build a ramp in order to climb over its walls.

“ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come into this city or shoot an arrow there or come before it with a shield or cast up a siege mound against it.

“ And this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria:“‘ His armies will not enter Jerusalem. They will not even shoot an arrow at it. They will not march outside its gates with their shields nor build banks of earth against its walls.

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the king of Assyria: He will not enter this city, shoot an arrow here, come before it with a shield, or build up a siege ramp against it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria:‘ He will not come to this city nor shoot an arrow there; and he will not come before it with a shield, nor heap up an assault ramp against it.

“ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:‘ He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria: He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow there or come before it with a shield or build up an assault ramp against it.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

So this is what the LORD says about the king of Assyria:‘ He will not enter this city, nor will he shoot an arrow here. He will not attack it with his shielded warriors, nor will he build siege works against it.

“ Therefore Yahweh says concerning the king of Assyria,‘ He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

就在今天、亞述王就要在挪伯歇兵了；他就要掄手攻打錫安城的山，耶路撒冷的山岡了。看吧，主萬軍之永恆主以可怕的震撼力砍削樹枝：身量高的必被砍下，高昂的必被伐低。森林的叢藪、他必用鐵器去斫伐；利巴嫩的樹、他必用斧子去伐倒。

他右手中拿到有「耶路撒冷」字樣的占卜籤，以便開口叫殺，揚聲吶喊，倒土堆築壘，設撞城錘以攻打城門。

『因此永恆主論亞述王是這樣說的：「他必不會來到這城、也不會射箭到這裏；不會拿盾牌臨到城前，也不會倒土堆攻城。他從哪條路來，也必從哪條路回去：這城他不能進：這是永恆主發神諭說的。為了我自己的緣故、又為了我僕人大衛的緣故、我必圍護這城來拯救它。』就在那一天夜裏、永恆主的使者就出來，在亞述營中擊殺了十八萬五千人；第二天早晨、人清早起來，哎呀，都是死屍。

看看錫安，我們守制定節期的都市吧！你必親眼看見耶路撒冷，優游自得的居所，不游移的帳棚，其橛子永不拔出，其繩索一根也不折斷的。

傍晚時分有恐怖！未到早晨，他們就沒有了！這是搶掠我們者所得的分，是掠劫我們者所受的報應。

因為日子必臨到你，你的仇敵必給你環築起土壘來，周圍環繞你，四面困住你，摔毁你和你裏面你那些兒女，不容你裏面有一塊石頭留在一塊石頭上；因為你認不出你被鑒察的時機。』

啊，許多外族之民的喧嘩！他們喧嘩，正如諸水之喧嘩；啊，外國之民的怒號！他們的怒號，就像眾水之怒號。

因此、你看吧，主必使大河的水，又強又大的水，就是亞述王和他所有的威榮，起來淹沒他們；大水必漲起、高過一切水溝，它必橫流，漫過所有的河岸；並且必沖掃猶大，氾濫瀰漫，直到人的脖子；但主展開的翅膀必遮遍你廣闊的國土；上帝是與我們同在的。』萬族之民哪，明白吧，你們終必驚慌；遠地之眾民哪，側耳以聽哦！束起腰吧，你們終必驚慌；束起腰吧，你們終必驚慌。謀畫陰謀吧，終必歸於失敗；一言言定吧，終必不能成立；因為上帝與我們同在。
