Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不筑垒攻城。

“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不能建土堆攻城。

“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不能建土堆攻城。

至于亚述王，耶和华说，‘他必不能进城或向这里射一箭，必不能手持盾牌兵临城下或修筑攻城的高台。

所以耶和华这样论到亚述王，说：‘他必不会来到这城，也不会在这里射箭；不会拿着盾牌来到城前，也不会筑土垒攻城。

“因此，耶和华论到亚述王如此说：‘他必不进入这城，也不在这里射箭；他必不拿着盾牌兵临城下，也不筑起土垒攻城；

「所以耶和華論亞述王如此說：他必不得來到這城，也不在這裏射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不築壘攻城。

「所以耶和華論亞述王如此說：他必不得來到這城，也不在這裏射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不能建土堆攻城。

「因此，耶和華論到亞述王如此說：『他必不進入這城，也不在這裡射箭；他必不拿著盾牌兵臨城下，也不築起土壘攻城；

故耶和華指亞述王曰、彼必不至此城、不射一矢於彼、不執干至其前、不築壘以攻之、

遂指亞述王、語民曰、彼必不入此城、不以干戈弓矢陳於前、不築壘以攻擊、

故主論亞述王曰、彼必不入此城、不射矢於其中、不執干戈至於其前、不築壘以攻之、

“ Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the king of Assyria:“ He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow here. He will not come before it with shield or build a siege ramp against it.

“ Here is a message from me about the king of Assyria. I say,“‘ He will not enter this city. He will not even shoot an arrow at it. He will not come near it with a shield. He will not build a ramp in order to climb over its walls.

“ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come into this city or shoot an arrow there or come before it with a shield or cast up a siege mound against it.

“ And this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria:“‘ His armies will not enter Jerusalem. They will not even shoot an arrow at it. They will not march outside its gates with their shields nor build banks of earth against its walls.

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the king of Assyria: He will not enter this city, shoot an arrow here, come before it with a shield, or build up a siege ramp against it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria:‘ He will not come to this city nor shoot an arrow there; and he will not come before it with a shield, nor heap up an assault ramp against it.

“ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:‘ He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria: He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow there or come before it with a shield or build up an assault ramp against it.

So this is what the LORD says about the king of Assyria:‘ He will not enter this city, nor will he shoot an arrow here. He will not attack it with his shielded warriors, nor will he build siege works against it.

“ Therefore Yahweh says concerning the king of Assyria,‘ He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand[ against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature[ shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint[ battering] rams against the gates, to cast a mount,[ and] to build a fort.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they[ were] all dead corpses.

Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle[ that] shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

And behold at eveningtide trouble;[ and] before the morning he[ is] not. This[ is] the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Woe to the multitude of many people,[ which] make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations,[ that] make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many,[ even] the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach[ even] to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God[ is] with us.
