Who is it you have mocked and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

“你辱骂谁，亵渎谁？扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？乃是攻击以色列的圣者。

“‘你辱骂谁，亵渎谁，扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？你攻击的是以色列的圣者。

“‘你辱骂谁，亵渎谁，扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？你攻击的是以色列的圣者。

“‘你在侮辱、亵渎谁呢？你不放在眼里、高声骂的是谁呢？是以色列的圣者！

你辱骂谁、亵渎谁？你扬起声音，又高举眼目，要攻击谁？就是攻击以色列的圣者。

你辱骂谁、亵渎谁呢？你扬起声音、高举眼目针对的是谁呢？是针对以色列的圣者！

你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰？揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？乃是攻擊以色列的聖者。

「『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰，揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？你攻擊的是以色列的聖者。

「『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰，揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？你攻擊的是以色列的聖者。

「『你在侮辱、褻瀆誰呢？你不放在眼裡、高聲罵的是誰呢？是以色列的聖者！

你辱罵誰、褻瀆誰？你揚起聲音，又高舉眼目，要攻擊誰？就是攻擊以色列的聖者。

『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰？你揚起聲來、攻擊誰呢？你高舉眼目、侮慢誰呢？乃是侮慢以色列之聖者呀。

你辱罵誰、褻瀆誰呢？你揚起聲音、高舉眼目針對的是誰呢？是針對以色列的聖者！

爾所侮所謗者為誰、向誰揚爾聲、高爾目、乃以色列之聖者也、

爾所侮所欺者為誰、爾白眼而視、疾聲而呼、欲攻誰乎、豈非以色列族之聖者乎。

爾毀謗誰、褻瀆誰、揚爾聲、高爾目、欲攻誰耶、乃攻以色列之聖者、

Who is it you have ridiculed and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

Who have you laughed at? Who have you spoken evil things against? Who have you raised your voice against? Who have you looked at so proudly? You have done it against me. I am the Holy One of Israel!

“‘ Whom have you mocked and reviled? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes to the heights? Against the Holy One of Israel!

“ Whom have you been defying and ridiculing? Against whom did you raise your voice? At whom did you look with such haughty eyes? It was the Holy One of Israel!

Whom have you taunted and blasphemed? And against whom have you raised your voice And haughtily raised your eyes? Against the Holy One of Israel!

“ Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice, And lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Who is it you have mocked and blasphemed? Who have you raised your voice against and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted[ thy] voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high?[ even] against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at? At whom have you shouted and looked so arrogantly? At the Holy One of Israel!

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

So I will make my holy name known among my people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

But when his heart was exalted and his spirit became arrogant, he was deposed from his royal throne and his glory was taken from him.He was driven away from people, his mind was like an animal’s, he lived with the wild donkeys, he was fed grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with dew from the sky until he acknowledged that the Most High God is ruler over human kingdoms and sets anyone he wants over them.“ But you his successor, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, even though you knew all this.Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of the heavens. The vessels from his house were brought to you, and as you and your nobles, wives, and concubines drank wine from them, you praised the gods made of silver and gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or understand. But you have not glorified the God who holds your life-breath in his hand and who controls the whole course of your life.

You will winnow them and a wind will carry them away, a whirlwind will scatter them. But you will rejoice in the LORD; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

He will speak words against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most High. He will intend to change religious festivals and laws, and the holy ones will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time.

Will you still say,“ I am a god,” in the presence of those who slay you? Yet you will be only a man, not a god, in the hands of those who kill you.

He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God.

On that day people will look to their Maker and will turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.

For he said: I have done this by my own strength and wisdom, for I am clever. I abolished the borders of nations and plundered their treasures; like a mighty warrior, I subjugated the inhabitants.My hand has reached out, as if into a nest, to seize the wealth of the nations. Like one gathering abandoned eggs, I gathered the whole earth. No wing fluttered; no beak opened or chirped.Does an ax exalt itself above the one who chops with it? Does a saw magnify itself above the one who saws with it? It would be like a rod waving the ones who lift it! It would be like a staff lifting the one who isn’t wood!

On that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no longer depend on the one who struck them, but they will faithfully depend on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.

You are still acting arrogantly against my people by not letting them go.

LORD, who is like you among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, revered with praises, performing wonders?

Do not forget the clamor of your adversaries, the tumult of your opponents that goes up constantly.

Who is it you mocked and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

But Pharaoh responded,“ Who is the LORD that I should obey him by letting Israel go? I don’t know the LORD, and besides, I will not let Israel go.”

You said to yourself,“ I will ascend to the heavens; I will set up my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of the gods’ assembly, in the remotest parts of the North.I will ascend above the highest clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

This is what the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: Because of you, I will send an army to Babylon and bring all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans in the ships in which they rejoice.

Are you not from eternity, LORD my God? My Holy One, you will not die. LORD, you appointed them to execute judgment; my Rock, you destined them to punish us.Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do you tolerate those who are treacherous? Why are you silent while one who is wicked swallows up one who is more righteous than himself?

Perhaps the LORD your God will hear all the words of the royal spokesman, whom his master the king of Assyria sent to mock the living God, and will rebuke him for the words that the LORD your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the surviving remnant.’”

“ Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Your heart is proud, and you have said,“ I am a god; I sit in the seat of gods in the heart of the sea.” Yet you are a man and not a god, though you have regarded your heart as that of a god.

And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads. On its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads were blasphemous names.The beast I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.One of its heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but its fatal wound was healed. The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast.They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying,“ Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against it?”The beast was given a mouth to utter boasts and blasphemies. It was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months.It began to speak blasphemies against God: to blaspheme his name and his dwelling— those who dwell in heaven.

There is a generation— how haughty its eyes and pretentious its looks.

“ Say this to King Hezekiah of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, on whom you rely, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem won’t be handed over to the king of Assyria.Look, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the countries: they completely destroyed them. Will you be rescued?Did the gods of the nations that my predecessors destroyed rescue them— Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the Edenites in Telassar?Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, or Ivvah?’”

For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior. I have given Egypt as a ransom for you, Cush and Seba in your place.

Get out of the way! Leave the pathway. Rid us of the Holy One of Israel.”Therefore the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message and have trusted in oppression and deceit, and have depended on them,

They set their mouths against heaven, and their tongues strut across the earth.

because of the taunts of the scorner and reviler, because of the enemy and avenger.

Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel. I will help you”— this is the LORD’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

The pride of mankind will be humbled, and human loftiness will be brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted on that day.

Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is among you in his greatness.”

He also wrote letters to mock the LORD, the God of Israel, saying against him: Just like the national gods of the lands that did not rescue their people from my power, so Hezekiah’s God will not rescue his people from my power.

Remember this: the enemy has mocked the LORD, and a foolish people has insulted your name.

Perhaps the LORD your God will hear all the words of the royal spokesman, whom his master the king of Assyria sent to mock the living God, and will rebuke him for the words that the LORD your God has heard. Therefore offer a prayer for the surviving remnant.’”
