But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, To repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none.

Arise, O God, plead Your own cause; Remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily.

I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.

It may be that the Lord your God will hear the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

It may be that the Lord will look on my affliction, and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing this day.”

Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate.O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies.O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; But they are on the throne with kings, For He has seated them forever, And they are exalted.

Remember, Lord, the reproach of Your servants— How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples,With which Your enemies have reproached, O Lord, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom Their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.

Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me.

O God, how long will the adversary reproach? Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?
