“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

“不要让你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，说什么耶路撒冷必不会落在亚述王手中。

“你们要对犹大王希西家这样说：不要给你所倚靠的神欺骗你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手里。

“你们要对犹大王希西加这样说：‘不要让你所依靠的神欺哄你，说：耶路撒冷必不落入亚述王的手中。

「你們對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的上帝欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「不要讓你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，說什麼耶路撒冷必不會落在亞述王手中。

“你們要對猶大王希西家這樣說：不要給你所倚靠的神欺騙你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手裡。

『你們去對猶大王希西家這麼說：「不要讓你的上帝、你所倚靠的上帝、欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不至於交在亞述王手裏。

「你們要對猶大王希西加這樣說：『不要讓你所依靠的神欺哄你，說：耶路撒冷必不落入亞述王的手中。

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、謂耶路撒冷必不付於亞述王手、爾勿為其所欺、

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、曾言耶路撒冷必不陷於亞述王、勿為所誘、

當如是告猶大王希西家曰、爾勿為爾恃之神所惑、自言耶路撒冷必不至陷於亞述王手、

“ Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend on deceive you when he says,‘ Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’

“ Tell Hezekiah, the king of Judah,‘ Don’t let the god you depend on trick you. He says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.” But don’t believe him.

“ Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ This message is for King Hezekiah of Judah. Don’t let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you with promises that Jerusalem will not be captured by the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to King Hezekiah of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, on whom you rely, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem won’t be handed over to the king of Assyria.

“ This is what you shall say to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by saying,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem won’t be handed over to the king of Assyria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Tell King Hezekiah of Judah this:‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust mislead you when he says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying,‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the Lord, saying,“ The Lord will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”’

Then the Rabshakeh said to them,“ Say now to Hezekiah,‘ Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria:“ What confidence is this in which you trust?

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”Look! You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by utterly destroying them; and shall you be delivered?Have the gods of the nations delivered those whom my fathers have destroyed, Gozan and Haran and Rezeph, and the people of Eden who were in Telassar?Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?’”

“ He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”

Now therefore, do not let Hezekiah deceive you or persuade you like this, and do not believe him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people from my hand or the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you from my hand?’”Furthermore, his servants spoke against the Lord God and against His servant Hezekiah.He also wrote letters to revile the Lord God of Israel, and to speak against Him, saying,“ As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people from my hand, so the God of Hezekiah will not deliver His people from my hand.”Then they called out with a loud voice in Hebrew to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to frighten them and trouble them, that they might take the city.And they spoke against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth— the work of men’s hands.

He trusted in the Lord God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him.

“ Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him.With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’”

He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”
