忠告褻慢人的、自取恥辱；勸責惡人的、自招污損。不要勸責褻慢人，免得他恨你：要勸責智慧人，他必愛你。

當下希勒家的兒子、管家以利亞敬、祕書舍伯那和亞薩的兒子、通知官約亞、都來到希西家面前，衣服撕裂，將參謀長的話告訴了他。
