Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.

Those who can’t walk will leap like a deer. And those who can’t speak will shout for joy. Water will pour out in dry places. Streams will flow in the desert.

then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;

The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland.

Then those who limp will leap like a deer, And the tongue of those who cannot speak will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.

Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

Jesus said to him,“ Arise, take up your mat, and walk.”Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.

He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. When the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the multitudes marveled.

The heart of the rash will understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.

As they went out, behold, a mute man who was demon possessed was brought to him.When the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. The multitudes marveled, saying,“ Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”

Then one possessed by a demon, blind and mute, was brought to him and he healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

and gave them bread from the sky for their hunger, and brought water out of the rock for them for their thirst, and commanded them that they should go in to possess the land which you had sworn to give them.

Moses lifted up his hand, and struck the rock with his rod twice, and water came out abundantly. The congregation and their livestock drank.

The poor and needy seek water, and there is none. Their tongue fails for thirst. I, Yahweh, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.I will open rivers on the bare heights, and springs in the middle of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.The animals of the field, the jackals and the ostriches, shall honor me, because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,

The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.He took him aside from the multitude, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him,“ Ephphatha!” that is,“ Be opened!”Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.They were astonished beyond measure, saying,“ He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak!”

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” He who hears, let him say,“ Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.

Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing— and they glorified the God of Israel.

Lord, open my lips. My mouth will declare your praise.

His mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue freed, and he spoke, blessing God.

The wilderness and the dry land will be glad. The desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.

He split rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink abundantly as out of the depths.He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

He brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, waters flowed out from under the threshold of the house eastward, for the front of the house faced toward the east. The waters came down from underneath, from the right side of the house, on the south of the altar.Then he brought me out by the way of the gate northward, and led me around by the way outside to the outer gate, by the way of the gate that looks toward the east. Behold, waters ran out on the right side.When the man went out eastward with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the ankles.Again he measured one thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the knees. Again he measured one thousand, and caused me to pass through waters that were to the waist.Afterward he measured one thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass through; for the waters had risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be walked through.He said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen?” Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river.Now when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.Then he said to me,“ These waters flow out toward the eastern region, and will go down into the Arabah. Then they will go toward the sea; and flow into the sea which will be made to flow out; and the waters will be healed.It will happen, that every living creature which swarms, in every place where the rivers come, will live. Then there will be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters have come there, and the waters of the sea will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river comes.It will happen, that fishermen will stand by it. From En Gedi even to En Eglaim will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many.But the miry places of it, and its marshes, will not be healed. They will be given up to salt.

But Peter said,“ I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.

They didn’t thirst when he led them through the deserts. He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them. He also split the rock and the waters gushed out.

There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.

At Lystra a certain man sat, impotent in his feet, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked.He was listening to Paul speaking, who, fastening eyes on him, and seeing that he had faith to be made whole,said with a loud voice,“ Stand upright on your feet!” He leaped up and walked.

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them. He will guide them by springs of water.I will make all my mountains a road, and my highways shall be exalted.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

One of the multitude answered,“ Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.”He answered him,“ Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.He asked his father,“ How long has it been since this has come to him?” He said,“ From childhood.Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.”Jesus said to him,“ If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears,“ I believe. Help my unbelief!”When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”

Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.

It will happen in that day, that living waters will go out from Jerusalem: half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea. It will be so in summer and in winter.
