“ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.I will bring my people Israel back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them. They shall also make gardens, and eat their fruit.I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,” says Yahweh your God.

“ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you.For, behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you.Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Yahweh’s glory shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.”

The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.

His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.

Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.

“ For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come, and will see my glory.“ I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to far- away islands, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.

Your head on you is like Carmel. The hair of your head like purple. The king is held captive in its tresses.

seeing it is God who said,“ Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The sun will be no more your light by day; nor will the brightness of the moon give light to you, but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!Let them give glory to Yahweh, and declare his praise in the islands.

You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.

The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.

mountains and all hills; fruit trees and all cedars;wild animals and all livestock; small creatures and flying birds;kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;both young men and maidens; old men and children:let them praise Yahweh’s name, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.

In that day there will be on the bells of the horses,“ HOLY TO YAHWEH”; and the pots in Yahweh’s house will be like the bowls before the altar.Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to Yahweh of Armies; and all those who sacrifice will come and take of them, and cook in them. In that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of Yahweh of Armies.

Sing, heavens, and be joyful, earth! Break out into singing, mountains, for Yahweh has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

Then your people will all be righteous. They will inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

Again he says,“ Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”

Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.

I will put cedar, acacia, myrtle, and oil trees in the wilderness. I will set cypress trees, pine, and box trees together in the desert;

One called to another, and said,“ Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!”

Let the sea roar with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.Let them sing before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your heritage, who dwell by themselves in a forest, in the middle of fertile pasture land, let them feed; in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.“ As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.”

But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

“‘ I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land. They will dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing.

Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as through wine; yes, their children will see it, and rejoice. Their heart will be glad in Yahweh.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness!Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joybefore Yahweh; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.

So the nations will fear Yahweh’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.

Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

Yahweh says,“ As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.I will bring offspring out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains. My chosen will inherit it, and my servants will dwell there.Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
