这是你应得的报应，是我量给你的，因为你把我抛诸脑后，信靠假神。这是耶和华说的。

他们晚上令人恐惧，早晨已无影无踪。这就是掳掠我们之人的下场，抢夺我们之人的报应。

那些画地图的人启程出发的时候，约书亚嘱咐他们说：“你们要走遍那里，绘制地图，然后回来禀告我，我要在示罗，在耶和华面前为你们抽签。”

祂从一人造出万族，让他们散居世界各地，又预先定下他们的期限和居住的疆界，

后来上帝又灭了迦南境内的七族，把土地分给他们作产业。
