He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.

He will be the firm foundation for their entire lives. He will give them all the wisdom, knowledge and saving power they will ever need. Respect for the Lord is the key to that treasure.

and he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.

And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is his treasure.

Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.

And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah is thy treasure.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times,[ and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD[ is] his treasure.

He is your constant source of stability; he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; he gives all this to those who fear him.

There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh is your treasure.

調劑乎身者其益少、敬虔乎主者其益大、今生來生、皆許有福、

惟上帝之國與義是求、則此物自加諸爾、

耶和華兮、賜予光明福祉、余何慮兮、扞衛我躬、予何懼兮、作惡者流、為予仇敵、欲噬我肉、今蹶其趾、淪胥以亡兮、

畏耶和華得生、而財恆足、不遇眚災。

耶和華兮、爾曹宜頌美之、寅畏耶和華、悅從厥命者、福祉永綏兮、彼之後嗣、秉國之鈞、義人之子孫、必納純嘏兮、貨財充足於家、其義永彰兮、

耶和華之神賦之、使有智慧、使有謀力、知耶和華之道而寅畏之、知人崇事耶和華之誠偽、不待目見耳聞、而是非悉辨、為困乏與謙遜之人聽訟、秉公行義、作惡者流、必遭箠楚、以辭氣滅之、腰束以誠、腎繫以信、

畏耶和華者得生命之泉、脫致死之網。

爾欲宮室告成、必用智慧。貨財充棟、必施睿心。智者必有勇、壯夫為之辟易。先思而後戰、集眾議、國以安。道其高矣哉、愚人不能企及、在公庭不知所措詞。

胸懷睿智之人、較邑中十長者、更有能焉。

希西家王亞麼士子先知以賽亞、呼天祈禱。耶和華遣使至亞述王營壘、滅諸勁旅、與武士長、亞述王恥之、遄歸故土、入其上帝殿、為子所弒。

然敬虔知足、則利莫大焉、

智可庇身、財可助己、惟獲智慧、可享永生。

爾當復入告希西家、爾祖大闢之上帝耶和華云、我聞爾祈禱、見爾出涕、將錫爾十五齡、救爾及此城於亞述王手、扞衛斯邑、

暴君虐貧民、若咆哮之獅、饑餓之熊。無智之君、多行暴虐、能絶嗜欲、可得永生。

爾盍仰觀乎天、俯察乎地、穹蒼必散若烟、寰宇必敝若衣、居民猝然而死、亦若是、我以仁義救民、歷久不渝。

乘車顯赫、惟仁義與信是佑、有戰必勝、使人畏懼兮、

耶和華以力賜民、沐以膏者、特手援之兮、

富而多慮、不如寡得而寅畏耶和華。

設也城邑褊小、人民鮮少、大國之君圍之、築高壘以環攻、邑中有貧人、明哲是懷、施其智以救邑眾、其後人無復念之者。我竊思之、智愈於力、貧者之智、為人藐忽、不從其言。寧從哲士之詞、莫聽昏君之論。智之為用勝於劍戟、惟一愚人與其間、則雖有嘉謀、亦為所敗。

國亂則主迭更、民良則邦永治。

希西家多得貨財、極其尊榮、建府庫、藏金銀、寶石、芬芳之品、金盾、珍器、亦作倉廩、藏百穀油酒、建廄畜牲牷、建牢畜群羊、蒙上帝錫財無算、故建邑垣、畜牛羊不計其數。

我主耶和華兮、爾施力以救我、戰鬥之日、爾覆翼我兮、

似憂而常樂、似貧而富眾、似無有而無不有、

王秉義、國以立、主受賄、邦必喪。

耶和華曰、爾雖以柏香木為板、以示華美、豈得恆居王位。爾父日用飲食、躬行仁義、而享福祉、彼為貧乏伸冤、既識我道、遂得亨通、
