He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.

He will be the firm foundation for their entire lives. He will give them all the wisdom, knowledge and saving power they will ever need. Respect for the Lord is the key to that treasure.

and he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.

And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah is thy treasure.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times,[ and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD[ is] his treasure.

He is your constant source of stability; he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; he gives all this to those who fear him.

There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh is your treasure.

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death.

Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches.A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.Wisdom is too lofty for a fool; He does not open his mouth in the gate.

Wisdom strengthens the wise More than ten rulers of the city.

Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven.Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned shamefaced to his own land. And when he had gone into the temple of his god, some of his own offspring struck him down with the sword there.

Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.

“ Go and tell Hezekiah,‘ Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father:“ I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.”’

Like a roaring lion and a charging bear Is a wicked ruler over poor people.A ruler who lacks understanding is a great oppressor, But he who hates covetousness will prolong his days.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished.

And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things.

The Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, Than great treasure with trouble.

There was a little city with few men in it; and a great king came against it, besieged it, and built great snares around it.Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city. Yet no one remembered that same poor man.Then I said:“ Wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, And his words are not heard.Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard Rather than the shout of a ruler of fools.Wisdom is better than weapons of war; But one sinner destroys much good.”

Because of the transgression of a land, many are its princes; But by a man of understanding and knowledge Right will be prolonged.

Hezekiah had very great riches and honor. And he made himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of desirable items;storehouses for the harvest of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of livestock, and folds for flocks.Moreover he provided cities for himself, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very much property.

O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

The king establishes the land by justice, But he who receives bribes overthrows it.

“ Shall you reign because you enclose yourself in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink, And do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.He judged the cause of the poor and needy; Then it was well. Was not this knowing Me?” says the Lord.“ Yet your eyes and your heart are for nothing but your covetousness, For shedding innocent blood, And practicing oppression and violence.”
