He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.

He will be the firm foundation for their entire lives. He will give them all the wisdom, knowledge and saving power they will ever need. Respect for the Lord is the key to that treasure.

and he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.

And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is his treasure.

Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.

And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah is thy treasure.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times,[ and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD[ is] his treasure.

He is your constant source of stability; he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; he gives all this to those who fear him.

There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh is your treasure.

蓋練乎身者其益小、惟敬虔則萬事皆益、而有今生來生之許、

寅畏耶和華、致得生命因而恆足、災不及身、

爾其頌美耶和華、寅畏耶和華、深悅其誡命者、其有福兮、其裔必強盛於地上、正人之後代、必蒙福兮、其家富有貨財、其義永存兮、

耶和華之神必臨之、即智慧明哲之神、謀畧才能之神、知識與寅畏耶和華之神也、彼以寅畏耶和華為悅、不依目見而鞫、不依耳聞而擬、秉公義以鞫貧乏者、持中正以擬世之謙卑者、以口杖擊斯土、以脣氣殺惡人、義以束腰、信以束身、

寅畏耶和華、乃生命之源、使人脫於死亡之網、

家室由智慧建造、因明哲堅立、其室充以貨財、皆寶貴可悅、由知識而致、哲人有力、智者增權、戰事起、恃智謀、議士多、能獲勝、智慧極高、蠢者莫及、故在邑門、不啟其口、

智慧使哲人有能、愈於邑中十有司、

希西家王與亞摩斯子先知以賽亞、因此祈禱、向天呼籲、耶和華遣使於亞述王營、滅其勇土、軍長將帥、亞述王蒙羞、返其故土、入其神廟、為其親生之子所弒、

然敬虔而知足、其利大矣、

智為護庇、金錢亦然、惟智能保人之生命、其益尤著、

往告希西家曰、爾祖大衛之上帝耶和華云、我已聞爾禱、見爾淚、必增爾壽十五年、且救爾與此城、脫於亞述王手、扞衛此城、

暴君制貧民、如咆哮之獅、覓食之熊、乏識之君、多行暴厲、貪欲是疾、必延年齡、

爾其仰觀上天、俯察下土、諸天必散若煙、大地必敝若衣、居民之死、有如蚊蚋、惟我之拯救永存、我之公義不廢、○

為誠實謙遜公義、赫然乘車前往、無不獲勝、爾之右手、必示爾可畏之事兮、

耶和華為其民之力、為受膏者拯救之保障兮、

少有而寅畏耶和華、愈於多財而煩擾、

有一小邑、其人鮮少、有一大王至而圍之、築高壘以攻之、邑有貧而智者、用智以拯其城、而無人記憶之、我則曰、智愈於力、然貧者之智、為人蔑視、言不見聽、智者之言、靜而聽之、愈於魁愚人者之喧呼、智慧愈於戰具、僅一罪人、能敗諸善、

國有罪惡、則主迭更、人有明哲、則邦恆存、

希西家富有貨財、大得尊榮、備府庫以存金銀寶石、香品干盾、及諸珍器、備倉廩以積穀、與酒及油、為牲畜備闌、為牛羊備牢、又建城邑、多畜牛羊、蓋上帝賜其貲財豐盛也、

主耶和華、我拯救之力歟、在昔戰鬥之日、爾蔽我首兮、

似憂而常樂、似貧而富眾、似無有而無不有、○

王秉公義、使國堅立、索賄者傾覆之、

爾以香柏之工競美、豈得因此為王乎、爾父式飲式食、秉公行義、而獲福祉、彼為貧乏伸冤、遂得亨通、耶和華曰、如是豈非識我乎、惟爾心目、專務貪婪、流無辜之血、行強迫暴虐、
