At the uproar of your army, the peoples flee; when you rise up, the nations scatter.

At the roar of your army, the nations run away. When you rise up against them, they scatter.

At the tumultuous noise peoples flee; when you lift yourself up, nations are scattered,

The enemy runs at the sound of your voice. When you stand up, the nations flee!

The peoples flee at the thunderous noise; the nations scatter when you rise in your majesty.

At the sound of a roar, peoples flee; At the lifting up of Yourself, nations disperse.

At the noise of the tumult the people shall flee; When You lift Yourself up, the nations shall be scattered;

At the noise of the tumult the peoples are fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations are scattered.

The peoples flee at the thunderous noise; the nations scatter when You rise in Your majesty.

The nations run away when they hear a loud noise; the nations scatter when you spring into action!

At the noise of the thunder, the peoples have fled. When you lift yourself up, the nations are scattered.

For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done[ it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant[ man]:And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs[ that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed,[ as] Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which[ were] in Telassar?Where[ is] the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest[ between] the cherubims, thou[ art] the God,[ even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

And he saw that[ there was] no man, and wondered that[ there was] no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance[ for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.According to[ their] deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.And this[ shall be] a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat[ this] year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they[ were] all dead corpses.

As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand[ against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature[ shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

Woe to the multitude of many people,[ which] make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations,[ that] make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but[ God] shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.And behold at eveningtide trouble;[ and] before the morning he[ is] not. This[ is] the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
