Who can withstand His indignation? Who can endure His burning anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, even rocks are shattered before Him.

Look, Yahweh comes from far away, His anger burning and heavy with smoke. Shudder, you complacent ones; tremble, you overconfident ones! Strip yourselves bare and put sackcloth around your waists.

You will make them burn like a fiery furnace when you appear; the Lord will engulf them in His wrath, and fire will devour them.
