個個都像避風所和避暴雨的隱祕處，又像荒漠中的溪水，像乾旱之地大磐石的蔭庇。

其人若逃狂風之所、若避暴雨之區、若川流之水、在旱乾之處、若巨磐之蔭、在困人之地、

狂風驟起、棲身巖穴、行於曠野、飲泉解渴、烈日炎熇、困憊不勝、得磐巖以憩息、君之保民亦若是、

將有一人、如避狂風之所、避暴雨之處、如河流之水在旱地、如大磐之陰、在令人困憊之地、

Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

Each official will be like a place to get out of the wind. He will be like a place to hide from storms. He’ll be like streams of water flowing in the desert. He’ll be like the shadow of a huge rock in a dry and thirsty land.

Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a parched land.

Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the rain, like flowing streams in a dry land and the shade of a massive rock in an arid land.

Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in an exhausted land.

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones[ is] as a storm[ against] the wall.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.For thou[ art] my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Then shall the lame[ man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay,[ shall be] grass with reeds and rushes.

And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory[ shall be] a defence.And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Thou[ art] my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Put not your trust in princes,[ nor] in the son of man, in whom[ there is] no help.His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.Happy[ is he] that[ hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope[ is] in the LORD his God:

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.And this[ man] shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God[ is] with us.For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,Say ye not, A confederacy, to all[ them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and[ let] him[ be] your fear, and[ let] him[ be] your dread.And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

O God, thou[ art] my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

In the last day, that great[ day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
