『人子啊，以色列家在我看來就是渣滓；他們都是鑪中的銅、錫、鐵、鉛：都是銀渣滓。因此主永恆主這麼說：你們既都成了渣滓，那麼你就看吧，我必將你們集合在耶路撒冷中間。人怎樣將銀、銅、鐵、鉛、錫、集合在鑪中，噴火去熔化它，我也必怎樣用我的怒氣我的烈怒將你們集合攏來，放在城中來熔化你們。我必將你們聚集攏來，把我震怒之火噴在你們身上，使你們熔化在那中間。銀子怎樣熔化在鑪中，你們也必怎樣熔化在那中間；你們就知道是我永恆主將我的烈怒倒在你們身上的。』
