以色列子孙哪，你们要回转归向你们曾严重反叛的那一位！

以色列人哪，你們深深地悖逆耶和華，現今要歸向他。

以色列人哪，要歸向你們嚴重悖逆的那一位！

以色列人啊，你們曾經嚴重地悖逆耶和華，現在歸向祂吧！

以色列人必回轉歸向他們所深深叛逆的永恆主。

以色列人歟、昔爾逆之已甚、今其歸之、

爾曹以色列族昔日違我、今當歸誠、

以色列人歟、爾曹悖逆主特甚、務當歸之、

Return, you Israelites, to the One you have so greatly revolted against.

People of Israel, return to the Lord. He’s the God you have so strongly opposed.

Turn to him from whom people have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.

Though you are such wicked rebels, my people, come and return to the Lord.

Return to the one the Israelites have greatly rebelled against.

Return to Him against whom you have been profoundly obstinate, you sons of Israel.

Return to Him against whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

Turn ye unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.

Return to the One the Israelites have greatly rebelled against.

You Israelites! Return to the one against whom you have so blatantly rebelled!

Return to him from whom you have deeply revolted, children of Israel.

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Return, ye backsliding children,[ and] I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou[ art] the LORD our God.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and[ then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself[ thus]; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed[ to the yoke]: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou[ art] the LORD my God.Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon[ my] thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.[ Is] Ephraim my dear son?[ is he] a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

They have deeply corrupted[ themselves], as in the days of Gibeah:[ therefore] he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.

So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err,[ and] to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he[ was] God.Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast[ them] out of the city.And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive[ us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands,[ Ye are] our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye[ even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he[ is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time[ that] thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
